My computer has a weird glitch, it won’t type the small-case “p”.
When I’m typing the dialogue and have a word with “p” in it,
I have to type “caps lock/shift/p/caps lock”.
I’ve tried three different keyboards, it makes no difference.
    In any program.
And sometimes it goes away when I wake the computer from sleep,
    but it always comes back.

Could you have caught some sort of bug?
I’ve seen computers do odd things but
      nothing like that.

Yeah, I’d run an off-line deep scan, I ran across a situation
where my BIOS was resetting, funny thing was that it
still happened after I changed the battery twice. Turned
out someone had tried to write a virus that would dump
the personal data and cover his tracks by trashing the BIOS.
My anti-virus had blocked the dump but didn’t clean the virus,
so it kept trying over and over until I did a Dos scan. THAT
      found it and cleaned it.

Most likely the virus you fight is the one called “Windoze” 😉
Many (!) years ago a joke ran around where someone had a problem
with the letter “C” gone awol on his keyboard ‘He’ was typing an
explanation to his friends – it was quite funny (the joke, y’know)
      😉

Aagh, the parser stole my emoticons. When you read my post,
please mentally insert a wink-emoticon after the ‘virusname’
and at the end of the post…

There was a huge number of “joke” viruses out in the late ’90s
ranging from inverting the screen or the mouse curser to changing
what all but the break button did. harmless but REALLY annoying…

I was so lucky to escape those (by having switched to OS/2
to get rid of a lot of ‘blue-screen-incidents’), but this was
actually a text where it looked like someone had typed it on
a keyboard where the letter ‘c’ didn’t work. It took some
effort to get through it, mentally adding the missing c’s 😉

I thought about it, but pc’s had a much larger software base
and rarely had issues if you were careful. Most times I had an
infection was when my wife or my kids used mine. The last
infection I got was the happy 99 virus, the rest were my son’s
pron or my wife’s games. she loved the simple, redundant
games that were “free” which was just a front for hackers.

granted she was shot but Teresa was able to save her.
I’ve cut off a bull’s (already dead) head with a meat
cleaver, I would not want to try that with a sword!

Wasn’t Evan the one that played “X marks the spot” on a
guy and then jumped on the table in front of the “governor”
        with a “Move… I dare you” look.

        You mean ‘Freddy Krueger’-style?
Never saw the movie but I seem to
recall it involved a chain saw…

“Texas Chainsaw Massacre” was what my mind came up with,
I got yelled at several times by my sister for making jokes
about that movie every time we butchered a cow. Seems it
was the one movie she ran screaming from LOL 😛 😉

He was a healthy sized bull, the last one we butchered ourselves.
We got about 800 lbs of beef out of him. A saws-all is a motorized
version of a hacksaw, using a wood-cutting blade works wonders
on bone and meat. His rear haunch was almost 100 lbs alone!
removing the head and the guts was the gross’s part, but breaking
down everything into cuts of beef was a major pain. Took us most
of the day, between shooting him, draining him, and cutting him up
into quarters so he’s fit in the big “resting fridge” that my sister had
was the hard part. The meat has to rest for a week otherwise it
gets an odd, bitter taste to it.

I woke up at about 4am today, got up, did my business,
went outside to have a smoke. Now the garage is sitting
on the opposite side of the driveway from the house, it’s
where I go to make sure no one else gets the smoke.
Anyway I was sitting there, puffing away and a train ran
by on the tracks half a mile away. No-big deal, but I heard
a pack of coyotes yip-yapping close by, nothing new.
but then the pack walked past me! a mom and 4 older pups.
and my car was on the other side of them! I just froze
and waited, they walked almost in front of me and paused,
smelling me, so I did my gorilla roar and talk about a
    synchronized launch! Heheheh….

Hence why I always carry. We were walking around complex,
about 6 pm. She sit to break, an a pack of dogs surrounded her,
She yelled at them, but they kept closing,
we both fired into the ground, then they ran off.

Don’t get me started on the lowlifes who abandon unwanted pets
out in the country when that cute puppy becomes a big dog.
Alone and unwanted, and not understanding why. No,
“Some Kind Farmer” won’t take them in. They will end up in a pack,
either killing livestock or running the weight off it.
They get infested with parasites and diseased, and if left alone,
they’ll die an ugly death. Made even more ugly because they’ll
never understand why their friend and companion left them alone
        in a hostile world.
The only thing that “Kind Farmer” will do is shoot them on sight.
It’s the only kindness they can offer.
People who would treat a pet like that should be abandoned themselves…
in a wilderness, with no resources to help them survive.
Let the bears and the wolves return the favor.

I hear you, Jasmine was a mess too, she would have been
too feral if we hadn’t taken her when we did. Cats are worse
about that, they are just a hair away from being a wild and
vicious animal. I’ve seen stray dogs as well as coyotes out
here, my father lost a pet goat to one years ago.

It was a mistake on my part I’ll grant you, but I
was half-asleep and didn’t plan to be out there
for more than 10 mins, so I didn’t take take my
.22lr with me and my 9mm was in my glove box.

I hear that, they keep saying things like 15%
chance, blah blah blah, then we get a heavy
cloud burst that floods the driveway.
Weather channel says 90F today but the
      outside thermometer says 104….
I’m staying inside up to just before sunset, I
don’t want another bout of heat stroke.
