I don’t know why the live band surprised me, but it did.
So, not docking and not landing? Contact by shuttle or fighters masquerading
as shuttles? Incidentally, early on it seemed like the crews were alternating
between calling them fighters and parasites, but since finding out their onboard
AI are actually sapient the second has been phased out as pejorative. I think it
would have been amusing to call them something like Tactical Insertion Combat
Craft, TICCs.
Re-enactment groups of almost any stripe can usually put together a
group of musicians and singers at the drop of a hat, and certainly
at the offer of a beer!
The last banquet my particular English Civil War group put on had
about 40 attendees, and I think ten or so stood to lead the singing
at various points of the evening, and whilst the dancers were resting.
Since it was in December, one of the old hands even performed a one
man mummers play, performing Father Christmas, St George, the
Turkish Knight and even the Dragon in turns, much to the amusement
of the audience.
However, in this instance, I think we can presume support from
Teresa’s team in recruiting and screening the band.
Very nice tune, but I don’t recognize it, and neither does my wife,
who is a traditional folk musician. Like me, she finds it familiar,
but can’t place it.
Drums, flutes, bagpipes. What a way to stir a warriors’ blood! WOOF!
I’m not a dancer by any stretch of the feet, but even I’d feel
compelled to get up and make a fool of myself over that tune.
PC, Sorry I couldn’t help you with your request, but tried my best.

Care to enlighten us?
Celtic Warrior
renamed from ‘Violet Storm’ when band members died (1992 as tribute)
also could be known as “Pride of Wales”.

There is music? I don’t see any icon for it.
It came on when I posted my question. Got it.
