They may live after all. But weren’t there supposed to be six in each group?
They may have left the others outside as lookouts, and they’ll get to greet
the cavalry that’s coming.
Last strip other readers reminded me about Roxxy calling Menga “Uncle”.
(And we’ve since seen Rexx and Menga refer to each other as “Brother”.
Even if that’s not by blood, my youngest refers to my brothers-by-choice
as “Uncle”.) And still, it wasn’t until today that I noticed the similarity
in the names. I must be getting old.
If these LARPers have the sense that God gave a sheep, they’ll realize
their predicament and lay down their weapons and raise their arms
(hehe…subtle pun there…..weapons…..arms…… he)
But now we have to wait for the next episode in the continuing drama
of “AIs in the AIsle”. (he…..)
Woodman, if they had that much sense would they BE bad guys?
These guys are just (I suspect) some cheap muscle scraped together
by someone in the conspiracy to recover the androids. Fiction is
replete with so-called “criminal masterminds” but I suspect that
(fortunately) in the real world there is a paucity of such people.
Look, if anyone involved in the enterprise had bothered to spend
even a couple of minutes thinking things out they would figured
that the gig wouldn’t last anything resembling forever and that
sooner or later they WOULD be apprehended and prosecuted.
I have observed that most criminal types have poor impulse control
and never think they are going to be caught.
Reckon any of these mokes will even be afforded the opportunity to
join the legion or will they simply be expelled/exiled? Personally
I doubt they are even smart enough to qualify for the legion.
Well, TGW wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for my readers.
Your patronage, help, suggestions, advice, and yes, criticisms have made
this comic much better. Even if it isn’t obvious, this story would not
have been the same without all of you.
Thanks, and keep it up!
