Going back a few posts (scanning to refresh memory) I ran into a comment
by PeterCat about drivers operating motor vehicles while masked. The
erratic behavior (and PC’s headaches) are not hypoxia. It’s a
combination of distracted driving and carbon dioxide rebreathing. I’m a
retired internist of 45 years experience and I agree that being fully
masked while alone in your car is idiotic. In the presence of others,
folks, a properly designed and fitted mask is a relatively effective
and inexpensive mass strategy for limiting the spread of viral,
droplet-borne diseases. Witness the marked reduction of the incidence
of influenza during the peak of the winter of 2020. Where it breaks
down is the apparent inability of the average goofus to fit and wear
them properly.
not “carbon dioxide rebreathing” the N95 mask or home made coverings
do not build up CO2.. the most likely cause of headaches is dehydration,.
or in extremely rare cases people with preexisting lung conditions..
Hypercapnia = high levels of CO2 in the blood ,, usually fatal unless put on pure O2..
Hypoxia = low levels of O2 in “tissue” ,, most notable symptom is turning blue..
Hypoxemia = low levels of O2 in the blood.. This is what everyone is talking about,,.

are subsonic an silenced mainly for the cats..
suppressor = hides muzzle flash.
silencer = reduces muzzle noise.
