Whiskey! Tango! Foxtrot?! A tail??? Looks to be from the same source as Kelly’s arms, too. Nice twist, Catman.

just to let every one know.. topwebcomics sold out.. (basically). Catman’s numbers are not slipping.. twc new policy is,, if you buy ad’s , you get top ten.. (the more you buy the higher the rate..) anddd, if you are new comic (with ad’s ) you get top ten…
now of course this is NOT ‘written’ but,, when i asked what to boost ‘my new comic’ (not) was needed .. they pushed ad’s…

Speaking of voting, I’m surprised that no one noticed the differences in the vote incentive over the past week.
      They’re on my Patreon.

I noticed. Look back a couple of days and you’ll see. BTW, did you get my email? Making progress on the surveillance module. Posted some.pix on DA.

Check DA. Made you a set of built-in bunk beds – with storage. Even managed to put blankets on the beds. All the comforts of home, eh? Thinking about deleting the regular chairs at the table and just going with same seats as at consoles. If built, those seats would be attached to tracks in the floor so they would remain in place in turbulence. Gotta do some serious thinking about work consoles. If I move the door a tad aft and widen the consoles a bit, I could put some drawers in the space between workstations. Your thoughts? Oh, and I have computer keyboards and monitors so I guess I don’t need any of your furniture after all.

Re: the space between the equipment rack and front wall. Nothing there just now. Could add another rack of equipment if you want. Trying not to make the thing too cramped. The door is wider than the equipment rack and I just thought there needed to be a tiny bit of space not completely crammed full.

front wall,, needs a door (hatch) .. so pilot an copilot can rest on long flights.. also so team lead can talk with them , without being on radio.. an just another escape hatch..
..on a 8 hour hop (1000 miles) between Okinawa an Philippines on a CH-53D ,, pilot an copilot rested right after take off (after set cruise) so could be fresh for landing. (really, so they could party in Olongapo.)

Way ahead of you, Mr Stanley, I just didn’t need the front and back walls to establish boundaries for the layout. The Catman mentioned that last week and I implemented almost immediately. Note, however, that there is an awful mismatch between the floor of the EITS module and any reasonable similar area in the rear of the locust’s fuselage – like a couple of feet! Likewise there is a large mismatch between any reasonable ceiling for the module and a similar structure for the fuselage. There is also damned near NO space between the rear of the fuselage and the front bulkhead of the module. Only way any passage would work is a very cramped roughly 3 – 3.5 ft tall tube at about a 60 degree angle. We’re talking about almost as tight a squeeze as between the forward part of a B-29 and the tail gunner’s position or the tail gunner’s passageway on a “D” model or before Buff. I promise. I analyzed this thing down to inches. Even built myself a ruler marked in half inches to measure crap with.

Never got down to Olongapo. Spent all my time on “Fantasy Island” running the ville in Angeles City. Ever hear of a dive called “the Nipa Hut”? Or how about the “Fire Empire”? And here’s an oldie but goodie the ” Holy City Zoo”. Had more’n a couple of bottles of San Miguel. Once rode out a cat 4 typhoon on the 4th floor of the hospital on Clark. Ever try balut?

Remind me some time to regale you with the sad, sad tale of A1C Capps, MSgt Robertson and the balut. (Capps was sorta the 1837 EIS’ version of Sad Sack) Course for the rest of the readers we’d have to explain just what the HELL balut is in the first place. Heh, heh.

I noticed it when it went up. Snarked about how my namesake must be reading from a collection of their collaborations, since either’s works alone would be way thicker or the book’s print would be too fine for eve a Cat to read. I don’t know if such ‘collaborations’ exist, but if Natalie Cole can sing a duet with her dad, anything’s possible. I like the implication that in a creche/clan fatherhood is a shared experience, not a shirked one.

Phantom sensations from a tail that isn’t there into a brain that isn’t expecting signals from a tail. Yeah, that would have been weird.

That tail should prove interesting in the future.
