Best way to change a country bloodlessly,
endure the people and the businesses to
you. After it’s all said and done, the na-sayers
will just be a tiny, annoying fly in the room.
easily swatted if need be.
Dicey but do-able, that’s a big risk, more so
if they can call in the attack before the Pride
can leave. I’d hate to see the best ship in
the diplomatic fleet to be wrecked. Just do
like most cats, show the tail and run! Only
her tail packs a small “sun” at the tip.
I thought I remembered that the reconstituted
Empire of Japan was on Okinawa, not Honshu!
Surely something terrible must have happened
to Tokyo and Honshu for that to be so. Kyoto
was the ancient capital before the Shogun
Ieyasu Tokugawa moved it to Edo (which he
renamed “Tokyo”). Kyoto means “capital of
the east” while Tokyo means “eastern capital”.
Must have been something really bad to make
the Japanese relocate to Okinawa! They are
some of the most tradition-bound people
I know of.

Ever seen the anime “Akira”?
Maybe that’s what happened.
And yet Japan is the classic example
of changing society by engaging
their own self-interests.
