device to help out an injured local and was spotted.

planet vanished. Seems it was passing through a
weird portal from another reality. So they waited.
11 days past and the planet returned. So they did
another recon and 700 years had passed. This kept
happening until the population had advanced so
far they were near god-like. Freaky but it depicts
that very idea.
So, since he called them sexy babes last strip, he’s now claiming
to -not- be a “real man”? I think he’s demonstrating that plainly.
Why are you all assuming that Rusty just happened to know of
a primitive world to exploit that turned out to be Terra by sheer
coincidence? I think it’s -far- more likely that there is another
explanation:
1 Rusty was acting under influence, whether mental or monetary.
1a Someone got to him and bribed him to send the Vulpa to the
heart of their new — let’s say adversaries rather than enemies.
1b The Empire’s latest recruits adjusted his memory and impulses,
with the ‘best of intentions’, of course.
2 Our cute little hacker (Yami/Yumi?) put a hidden command in
the Vorpil Blade’s computer to send it to Terra the next time it
entered hyperspace, regardless of where it had been told to go.
Granted, they are used to a culture that basically remains unchanged
for millenia, and may assume that is true for everyone, but that
still ignores the literally astronomical odds against hopping to Terra
out of the literal millions (at least, could be billions) of inhabitable
worlds in the Milky Way on a coincidental impulse.
Rusty said it wasn’t harvested because it too costly to
make the trip often, So it was largely forgotten until
the core begged for help in removing a “problem” that
was the Empire. The Demons detected the system and
decided it was easy pickin’.
Got schooled and in the end joined up. I like a good
conspiracy too, but that’s a bit far out for an easy
“oops” moment. That’s the thing, no one was paying
attention and 2 races have FAFO’d themselves now.
Although, this could be one, I think it was Rusty’s
goof for not looking it up in their computer.
3. She let the telepaths know that they not only wanted to join the Wolf
Empire, but also warn and help with the coming attack. So she gave
the Wolf Ambassadors the access codes to their system through the
telepaths so they could ‘hack’ their system and meddle with their navigation.
Because the Counselor got even more brains than they gave her credit for.
She gave them permission to scan her thoughts, which could indicate she
has some mental defenses against that.
In case the attack gets launched before the Wolf ambassador’s can
make it back. That is, if the ambassador’s even get wind of the coming
attack, something the Counselor can’t be sure of.

Plausible deniability for one and in case one of her people has been paid off.

I’m not clear whether they are a Fox squadron, or have arrived with the invasion fleet,
thus risking getting tarred with the same brush.
It is odd, but it could also be that the attack co-ords and the
quiet spot they wanted were the same, and he didn’t check

Foxy talks fast and furiously to the right people. Or just have

out the best setting without the box getting hot. I just had to turn it down a tad,
it’s wasn’t hot, but too warm for my liking.
Damn desk here is too small! I’m going to by a 6 foot table
that I can put everything on, my pill bottle keep getting in
the way when I move my mouse (whine, grumble, bitch).
The nurse just left, she agreed, it’s not far off now. Her
Oxy got back up once I swapped out her mask for the
nose piece, I’m guessing she knocked it loose in her sleep.
She has this cycle, sleeps for 3 hours, wakes up to eat/drink/fuss
sits up for an hour, rinse and repeat. Before her breathing
doctor told us there’s nothing more he can do for her and
gave her 6 months to a year, was 7 months ago. she’s been
on hospice for nearly that long.
I just changed her, she can’t move on her own anymore,
there’s signs of brain damage, I don’t know how long she
went without oxy. She can’t speak or able to use words,
she can’t sit up or stand anymore. I’m in tears right now,
I can’t help but think it’s my fault for sleeping….
it happened again, her oxy dropped to 50%, then it crawled
back up. we have days, maybe a couple of weeks, I don’t
think I’ll risk sleeping tonight. my son called off work, he’s
helping me care for her, I can’t let her see my face, she’ll
