I had the idea of letting the politicians do the actual fighting
and we just watch the show. It’d run off a lot of these mamsy-
pansy touchy feely libs off. And save a lot of troops any time
some simpleton got butt-hurt.

I had well-wishers and family all day until I almost fell asleep,
slept about 5 hours.
I’ve got grief counseling available as well.
It’s not as bad as it was early this morning when I found her,
but I still have a hair-trigger, I’m more worried about my youngest,
he has the same disease and I think my eldest is finally going to
get tested now.
Him and his kids. It’s a recessive gene,
I must have had a dormant gene as well.

it is hard not to feel some relief that
she and you are no longer suffering.
Now, take care of yourself.
It kills me, it used to be with controlled drugs like her
pain med you had to let the doctor/hospital dispose
of them, now, cat litter, dish soap, and water in a
zip-lock bag is enough…
I will, after we got back, i decided to take a nap at about 2 pm,
my son woke me at 11. And my body says “MORE!” HEH.
I’ve got to run out to get gas, for my mower and the car, it’s
an hour drive and I still need to collect her ashes.
I’m ok, I think I’ll take them up on the grief help as well.
I went to the home to sign the papers and tell them how
I wanted it to go.
I took both sons and the eldest’s wife to go with me,
Cracked me up how nice the lady was when I told her I could
pay today, in cash, heh.

All three of us guys had a breakdown when they brought her
out for a final viewing, however.
D-in-law had to drive us back to the house.
I guess you could say that regardless of his intentions,
Disco-Stew did help out Chris a bit, gave him a bit of
fun, earned him some cash, and got him a new client!
That’s so true, the Empire has never liked pointless killing
unless the folks make it necessary. Better to befriend and
up-lift than to splatter them.
Imagine how the War in the Pacific would have gone if Japan had
expanded through Southeast Asia using this model.
“Hey, join us and we’ll all benefit!” Proving it first.
No Pearl Harbor, America sits back and watches…
Of course, the Allies would have tried to stop them in order to
protect their own economic interests.
Of course, it would have taken longer.
I’d like to see an alternate history based on that model.
The world could have been a completely different, more economic growth
and far less in-fighting over the last 10 decades. Hell, we could be having
this conversation on different worlds…
see up until 1930s Japan was an ally,. then the military faction got
control,. and got aggressive in China, an since we have a lot of
Chinese immigrants, they pushed the ‘woah is me’,. help us button.
even tho they were favoring the communist angle. (( also did you
know.. we were helping Germany until a few key incidents..)) their
assembly lines was made by Henry Ford.!) also the selective breeding
or eugenics programs were copied from the US… so yeah, change 3 key
out comes (2 German, 1 China.) and the US would have been Axis power.!
Chris should have taken my advice and spiked Stew into the dumpster,
He might still have had to fold him, but over the years I’ve learned that
you can make something fit just by pushing harder or build up speed
first heh.

laws.! … who watches the watchers.! … IE: they were supposed to
be there a limited time, make state wage (from voting state.), and
when left office, left all the bennies behind… (no for life health
care. for you and your ENTIRE family.!)

that premise. Well written, not scifi.
