Hard to say on runabout passengers. The kids were obviously in the
section of the ship whereby they survived. Maybe they were in the
passenger compartment, while the parents/pilots were in the less
protected cockpit. We may learn more when PC shares with us next.
If they put those kids in the cargo hold, I liked it to putting
your kids in the trunk of the sports car rather than driving
the family van. Granted being there helped the kids to
survive the crash, but it’s the same analogy, it depends on
whether or not if it was empty space or there were seats.
I doubt it if the teen laid on top of the baby to protect it.
Don’t forget that Meten had to undo
the safety harness first.
I think that there were seats for them.
The teen probably unhooked his to shield the infant.

Kat was Stilyagi, she was doing some espionage. However, this
Admiral has no concern for anyone’s life, much less a child’s.
He values nothing or nobody but his own interests. His cocky
sociopathic behavure is about to get dry-roasted. Katrina might
be a Sociopath herself, but she knows what Matthew and Teresa
values the most and what response to give for what he had done.
