Panel 4 – My wife had a rule when the kids were little.
If she says she’ll think about it, she will think about it.
If you pestered her about it before she gives you her answer,
the answer was an automatic “No”. Kathy does not suffer fools.
And if that woman hasn’t understood previous negative explanations,
she’s a fool. Or she thinks she can wear Kathy down.
If she thinks that she doesn’t know who she’s dealing with.
And by being a pest, if the empire ever does change its policy,
she’s the last person who will be given an opportunity.
Panel 3 – Kathy’s secretary is going to get a reminder
about what she can tell to whom.
I think Kathy is very close to showing the pain-in-the-neck
just how neck pain can hurt. This gal puts me in mind of
the “chads” that hung out at the local bars in my home town.
Not all, but many would get pissed when they were yelled
at with “NO! AND DON’T ASK AGAIN!!” One guy actually
grabbed the gal and was going to “teach her a lesson.” That
gal was my wife and that ass got a FAFO lesson instead.
The secretary is in doodoo and should have known better.
Bureaucrats never have had any common sense.
Like most politicians dollars and cents only.
I do believe the Admirals awake now.
He is in a lose-lose situation.
Naa just pushy, that might have worked in the past with
other people, but with Kathy, you push her, she punches
back! I don’t care who’s idea it was to try this, but maybe
Kathy needs to explain, in GREAT detail, that if they were
to agree, there would be a federal tax levied on ALL
business to cover the loss of income for the Navy if they
did that. And everyone will know WHO’s fault it was…

And each and every ship out there has the same
weapons, so do it, yell out “OH SHIT! RETREAT!!”
while waiting on that poor elf slave to bring you

Side note, my son asked me to bring him his bank card and his belt,
I guess he had a rough start. Anyway he was worried about my
getting home, I have poor night vision and it’s made worse in the rain.
He told me to text him when I got home, which I did.
I assume “battle” Bill mentioned is what is unfolding below,
so two strips are synced. Nice.
Nobody mentioning the “East wormhole” bit? The last I
remember, the Sol system had only one (known) wormhole,
the one leading to Catia. Although some of us had speculated
about a second leading on into “Dragon Space” proper, just
that Terrans hadn’t found it yet. Did I miss or forget a
discovery at some point?
While there could be a wormhole to Dragon Space…. Well,
I don’t know for sure how far Cat-Man took them.
But Big Red’s technology is toddler-level in comparison.
I hate it when they cut shorts off before the end.
Or when they show a movie clip without naming the movie.
I would add one more rule:
Any public servant who accumulates more than a 10% gain in wealth or
property yearly must surrender the excess to the government every year.
That’s the Wolf Empire rule.
Okay, two:
Criminal and civil penalties will be doubled for any government employee.
The original sentence for breaking the law, the add-on for betraying the
public trust. Another Wolf Empire rule.
Oh, hell. Just adopt the Imperial legal system and be done with it.
I totally agree with those rules PC, it’s about time
these lawyers and judges be held accountable.
And of course: “we’re just good at finances”
(cough cough insider cough…)
Well, my father’s health seems to be better, he had his
“wellness check” to day and they cut a couple of his meds,
but completely failed the memory test.
I did speak to someone about getting me help, I had a melt
down last night, I just got overwhelmed.
Between the “hunnydo’s” and arguing with my father about
taking a shower, it just hit me like a Muslim in a rental truck.
My wife held me until it was over, kept saying she was sorry,
I told her it wasn’t her fault.
There’s only so much distractions help,
I haven’t touched the printers in a few months.

There are three – East to Catia, West to Dragon space, and North,
which is being explored by Imperial Survey ships.
But that’s a story for later.
