Minka & Mavia
Thanks Rob. Missed it (again). I was thinking it might be
Minka, but the hair looked a bit off, and she’s a bit thinner
than I remembered. And I’m not used to seeing Mavia with
virtually all of her stripes covered.

When I seen Mavia I thought as much, but I had to zoom in
to be sure, Minka has it in a ponytail and had filled out a bit
while not gaining weight. Mavia can take credit for that, with
her help Minka has been able to rest more and eat better,
much to everyone’s delight! 😉
I’d hate to see her Well-Adjusted…

Typical indeed! A good analogy is throw a
medicine ball at me, it’s an ER trip, throw
it at Zeeka, not only will she catch it, but
throw it right back! heh… she’ll do fine,
once the rest of the crud the core’s been
force-feeding her is out.
I had thought at first it wasn’t those two until I seen the chaps on Minka.
And if she’s going that certainly explains Mavia since she is Minka’s
bodyguard. So the girl in P1 is someone they meet?
Chaps would be great when riding off-road, they’re bound to be
cooler than the leather’s I had back then. Sadly they were only
for the “Urban cowboy” craze following the disco era. Pricey and
rarely real leather. All the more reason to hate city living…
I can tell Zeeka’s figured out for herself that the “Empies” aren’t
so bad after all if she’s sharing an embarrassing and tricky moment.
I’m glad if so, talking to some immigrants myself, there is some
very bad thoughts about us “‘mericans.”
It looks like things @ TWC have settled down somewhat. Whatever
GP was doing it has either stopped or dialed way back. TK is still
anomalous. It’s gotten more than TWICE the number of votes as
2nd place. Oh well, TGW is comfortably in 4th place and PC is happy
in the top 10. I’d still like to know how TK is doing it.
GP has the fan base (money). so as long as he stays in the top 5..
an TK is botting.. any vote jump of over, 1k an hour is bots..
jus so you know.. PC is doing it on fan numbers only.. if you go
look, all the others (in top 10) have ADDs..

The rules allow it so no harm, no foul.
From my testing, you can vote again after 14 hrs,
but I’m not sure about that….
I got to thinking that while we know everybody in the TGW universe
uses wormholes for fast intersystem travel, we’ve never actually
seen a wormhole. Well I got busy today and found a tutorial on
YouTube on how to make a picture of a wormhole in Photoshop
(or Photoshop Elements in my case). I actually think the results
aren’t half bad. Check them out at my DA page.

We have seen what the opening looks like, as in

But what a wormhole looks like aside from the
opening is pure theory, SG-1 tried to show what
it’d look like, but in that case they used a
“transporter” kind of set up, where travelers
were pretty much a signal through the WH
rather than mass as in TGW. Babylon 5 might
have been closer, but used another universe
that had to be manually traveled through.
TGW seems to be like walking through a door
way rather than either of those shows. SG-1
and B5 described the trips taking real time
to travel while TGW it’s pretty much
instantaneous.
Crap! I forgot about that. But what do you think of my efforts?
No worries, it’s why I re-read often, little bits of lore does help
sometimes. I’d say the first two would be great if the Empire decide
to use the mass detector coupled with the view screen when they
start looking for new ones. Not DS9 like, so no issues there either.
Think the combined images of the Web and Hubble telescopes, far
more data that way. Overlay the mass detector’s “image” with the
visual light, infrared, x-ray, and such and it would be a spectacular
view! From what I read, they “tag” different levels of the non-visual
light with certain colors to make it easier for people to see it.
