It’s sad but true, people have been so mistreated and taken advantage of they
can’t help but give a complete oral exam to the gifted horse. CT scans and MRI

Boy, talk about diving in feet-first! Marise I have little doubt will be the first to go
through training, with Kima grilling her as much as he can. No doubt both the
Sparrow and the other ship will be on HIGH alert until back-up arrives, which
will be a few weeks off. With this new and almost bottomless recruit supply, the
Empire fleets and the IMM will grow to great heights in a matter of months if not
a few years. I think the Lapordae will play a huge roll in the coming war, They will in
time be as common a sight on the streets of any Empire member as the Cats
do now. I kinda have this image, 20-30 years down the road, the core worlds
will be like slums, and the Fringe will be the one’s with gilded buildings and the
best tech as common as the wind. (Stupid auto-correct, Lapordae not Lapboard!)
I like that addition to the colonies, no kids, so they will live their
lives and not spread their pointless ideals to future generations.
I’m surprised the Pride is cutting its mission short, even for this. Of course, I’m
also surprised there haven’t been more Shitbats coming through the wormhole
to see if the first four need help. Speaking of, did anyone sweep for survivors?
I’m sure they or the “Hornies” will come and check up on those ships.
The Pride is the best choice to escort the Pteran ship in, it took a lot
of damage and both the Pride and the destroyer escort have a much
better chance of getting them safely there. Plus, Taritha just signed
up a HUGE number of troop/navy/marine recruits for the Empire,
Teresa will want to know everything ASAP. As well as the grand admiral(s).
They were hit hard, one broke in half, another was described as
“wearing away” it’s a big maybe and both friendlies were small,
scout ships, they didn’t have the man power or the space for
hostiles. The Sparrow only had 3 on the bridge,
4 in 2 Toby’s and maybe an engineer.
They are in a quiet part of the Fringe, away from even the lesser used
routes. It looks like none of the Core Worlds have a base in the Fringe.
Which means it might takes weeks until these ships are missed. And
with the rather small fleets it’s a question if they have ships available
to look what happened to the missing ships. And if something happened
to those four, how many would they sent after them?
For the Core Worlds the Fringe is quickly becoming a black hole for ships.
The Core probably don’t even know what happened to the Dreadnought
and the two cruisers from the 860’s strips. We know that they were
missing them, but that’s it.

That’s how I read what Taritha said. The Empire is composed of
kingdoms so it stands to reason that once the bunny prime alpha
swore fealty to the Empire and Theresa he would become king.
I had the same thought, now that they are a kingdom in the Empire,
his title would change. “A rose by any other name…” Although I
doubt he’s “sweet” smelling, more like my wife’s pet bunny did
after her bath heh…
You guys will not believe what I saw at Sam’s Club this morning.
A woman walked by wearing – I SWEAR – a B5 Centauri (men’s) hairdo.
At first I thought she had some.sort of retro beehive hairdo but when
I got along side it looked like she was wearing a fan made of hair.
I swear it looked like how they styled Peter Jurasic’s (Londo Molawry)
hair on B5. Weird, huh?
Maybe a fan, or an English woman from “across the pond,”
I remember during a recent royal wedding some of the
hair styles and hats reminded me a lot of B5’s hair.
Oh, to have been there…..
Sooooo……we’ve all heard of “WalMartians”
(or “people of WalMart”)
What do you call Sam’s Club “people”?
Would they still be “WalMartians” (once removed)?
Sam’s club IS Walmart, he started Sam’s club to be just that,
a club for people to pay extra to get in and “save”.
It quickly became a bulk item warehouse.
And yes, I was a card carrying member, until I moved to where it was
an hour drive in heavy traffic to get to one. Not worth the $35 a year.
I’d spend that much in gas getting there and back.

True, Sam did take down K-mart as well, Costco was around long
before Sam’s Club. The only Costco I knew of was a small store
near the factory I worked at, I used to buy Italian beef sandwiches
from the deli there for lunch. It wasn’t until we moved here that
I knew of the bulk store existence. And it’s not in the heart of Indy
city like Sam’s club.
In my experience Sam’s customers are pretty much normal folks. I’ve
never seen any really outlandishly dressed folks there. Of course I’ve
never seen anybody like in the numerous online photo albums of
weirdos at WalMart either. This is the south side of San Antonio, Texas
here. Pretty much just regular old hard-working lower middle class
people here. I’ve often wondered what part of the country those folks live in.

I seen this one pic someone took at a Walmart….
It was a heavy 70 something y/o lady wearing a
tube top… Her chest was so low the top was wrapped
around the small of her back… Lady, I’m sorry, but no.
Just no… The meme I seen had a side pic of a black cat,
ears back and a look of great concern and fear.
