I’m surprised Cpt Chardis’ tail isn’t whipping around at 90 mph.
And yes, it WOULD be interesting to see two Hammerheads hammered together.
But darn! Diplomacy! Maybe another time, another hunt, another species.
I’m sure the Hammerheads are equally shocked to find that the
Catians aren’t captives, with all that implies.
Meanwhile, I’m ROFLOL!
Maybe she’s not really mad and doing this as a scare tactic?
Or maybe she gonna open the door, throw them in then jump in
herself locking the door behind her yelling “NOW they’re on board!”
You think this is all a bit of psy-op play acting?
Could be.
Either way, serious or play acting, the Hammerheads are put on
notice that Catians are not captives, pussies are not prisoners.
Oh I’m sure it’s a bit of both, but I learned a looong time ago
that making an assumption about a cat can result in injury and
yelling/screams of “It’s in the bone! AAAAAHH!”
Granted this kitty doesn’t have claws but I’m sure it’d feel like it!

Don’t forget that they are playing a little charade here. The Ptero can’t
oppose the Hammerheads and have to play nice, but they don’t want
to hand over the Pride either. So they play by the rules. If I’m not
missing a guess, the Hammerheads don’t have an official warrant
from the Council declaring the Catia’s Pride a rogue ship or is at
least no longer a diplomatic vessel and they might never get one
considering what is probably going on on Xanadu right now. So
the Catia’s Pride is officially a diplomatic ship.
The little charade tells the Hammerheads that by the rules the
Pride still has diplomatic status and the Ptero will go with this.
They also impart that by breaking into the Pride they legally
are on Catia and under Catia law. Depending on how the
Ambassador or Captain sees it anyone breaking into the pride
can be a burglar or a spy and handled as such.
I go with few assumptions that Diplomatic status is handled
similarly like in our world, because it makes sense.
Also, we have seen that many in the Core are used to play
fast and loose with the law or outright ignore it. Something
the Ptero don’t seem to like.
They are playing the game dealt. They can’t get the best results with losing battles.
Diplomacy is a skilled game. Larger forces can be corralled using diplomacy.
Laws can be used. All information does not need to be freely given.
True, I do get a little exited sometimes.
While this Webcomic has it’s problems, there are things it’s doing extremely
well. Among them the diplomacy, which is done extremely well. I just love
it to death.
I expected Larissa would fill him in and maybe an offer of an out?
Either way it’s about to get very noisy around there! Good luck!
Now Now T’ghata, it’s not nice to take a cat’s toys away just when
she’s about to play with them, they get cranky…
I can’t wait to count the “whats” that the other one is going to
spout when he/she/it gets to the queen’s dinner table heh…
I think that’s what the “Ah’ll ‘splain all” is for.
We have too little context – but I kinda think that she does have a
pretty good idea as to his reaction.
Larissa does seem pretty sure of what Jeffery is likely to choose,
but still reducing the chance of a mistake raising a ruckus before
it is too late for locals to respond.
My wife’s surgery went well yesterday they had her
up and walking about 6 ft while I was there this
morning. we’re going to have her go to a rehab
center however I’m very afraid without the know-how
I could do more damage than good for her. This way
I know she’ll be cared for. It’s the same place my father
went to after his heart valve replacement 10 years ago.
Great news. You just have to remember when she gets home,
that she walks/moves at her speed. Especially in and out of a vehicle.
The porter or aide should show you how to help her.
Good luck and best wishes.
I’ve got a wheeled walker for her that she is GOING to use this
time… She’s real bad about not doing the right thing because it’s a
pain in the ass blah blah…
She’s got very bad tremors, like Parkinson’s bad. I made her stop
trying to cook after I watched her almost stab her own hand 7
times before I grabbed her wrist, took away the knife, and told
her no more cooking! That’s why she fell, her mind said that way,
but her leg went the other.

(Larissa, up on the rooftop)
“Now, Jeffery, y’all can come with me, right here, right now.
Or, y’all can stay here and take your chances with the CSA Stazi.
I know, and you know, that you don’ know nuthin’ ’bout what’s ’bout to happen.
But THEY don’ know that you don’ know nuthin’ ’bout the explosions that are ’bout to happen.
But by the time they get through with you, you’ll wish you were dead.
You might even be dead. And that would be a terrible waste of a good man that gave me SUCH a wonderful massage last night.
Are you ready to get into the transport now? Or would you rather stay behind?
We’ve got a ramp on the front door, my mother was in a wheel chair for
years before she passed. The Jimmy we are using is at perfect height
for getting in and out, and my father and I are going to go on daily
walks with her to build back up her legs, weather permitting. Her user
name she used to use was “Luckylady”, and yes I will tease her about
that once she’s home and recovered! 😉
Also they are giving me a belt they use to help someone
up off the bed, chair, etc…
Caring for my parents had taught me a great deal of
this stuff as well as my background in body-building was
to help but sadly if they don’t want to do it… yeah…
My oldest sister takes her daily one or two plus mile walk around the lake or
entire park with her dog about every day. That is good for her.
Our parents have passed, so we don’t have their care to be concerned with any more.
Aside from sports I didn’t do any structured body building. I lifted enough heavy weights
and strenuous work in one area of my business. And I have the back to show for it.
The employees got off easy. Working around the property is an option for me that can tire
me out, but, those youtube walking channels get more ca get cardio up when ramped up.
The greater effort is not needed to get good benefits and a good stretching and a mile or
two walk done. Everyone should take it as slow as they want and do as little of the extra
stuff beyond walking that they don’t want to. I know someone that is classified as 100%
disabled that it helps. She does overdo it every now and then and has to take time off to
recuperate for a few days. If she advances to doing the easy ones, that might help. It keeps
me limbered and in a controlled environment inside. I don’t have to worry about the holes
animals dig in the ground and the variations and dangers of the ground and property.
The only cats I have to deal with are two grown kittens and the mama. Now the coyotes,
they are back and were howling last night. The dog is afraid of the cats, and also the coyotes.
Further healing to your wife.
My plans to be a physical trainer/professional body builder
got derailed when that car threw me out a window straight
up, I was air-born long enough to KNOW it. Saved my life
too because I was able to right myself and land feet-first
other wise my head would of been a watermelon smashed at
60 mph. Sadly I shattered a bone in my foot, dislocated my
right hip, shoulder, and collar bone plus my left hand snagged
on the way out of the car, it looked the worse of all. I only
regained about 60% use of my legs and about 75% of my
hand. The end of my athletic dreams…
But it’s saved me a few times from being mugged, I love
the look on their face when I block the knife, I break their
hold, chop their throat, and “ring the door bell” with my
good knee! 😉 heheheheh….
Ouch to it all. That’s a lot. I like that you took care of who needed it.
I have tied a street fight, won some, and did not lose any. I only lost to two
older brothers.
I carried or moved or lifted or pushed heavy objects around the shop
and yard or on tables and up 2 flights of stairs and onto trucks for transport
to job sites or delivery. Pinched nerves. Specialty contractor in construction
company. Miscellaneous mishaps. We deal with what we have to. Do it.
Yeah it was rough, I was paralyzed from the chest down for 24 hrs
in ICU, once they got me stabilized and the swelling went down I
could wiggle my toes and kinda move my left leg. So there was no
way in hell I was going to let them stick me in a wheel chair! It took
6 months to relearn to walk and enough feeling to return for it to
be safe, got tiresome to have to check my legs everywhere for
injuries.
I’m surprised Cpt Chardis’ tail isn’t whipping around at 90 mph.

It’s hard to tell without hearing the tone of her voice
and not much of a facial expression.
To me it’s seems like this mocking them playfully,
by make it crystal clear that she won’t allow them
to trample over her.
Maybe add a bit of challenge to the mix:
“You wanna play rough? Then bring it.
If not it’s fine by me too.”
You think this is all a bit of psy-op play acting?
Could be.
Either way, serious or play acting, the Hammerheads are put on

Sorry, Scarsdale
But having been the servant to too many cats, I got a belly chuckle from your statement.
BTDT.
They, in fact, *are* pussies.
Hmph! Don’t count on it! lol

No worries… Can’t seem to get this blasted paint off my shoes….
stuff is slimy did ya know that?
