This story line has touched me deeply I know exactly what Tenshi is feeling
shock, horror, a longing to save those harmed, and the realization that it is
too late to do so. Soon she’ll feel the anger and the desire for revenge
that will leave her hollow and broken even if it’s fulfilled… I didn’t get counseling
until I was 23 and that was mostly because I met my soon-to-be wife and I
wanted to care and feel something again. I’m sure Tenshi will get that help
Carl going in and holding her was a nice touch and will be a start to that help!
Any man worthy of the name, anyone who’s ever been a parent worth of the name,
knows what Carl is feeling. As for Janice, I think it’s possible she was seeking the
shelter of the break room and decided to let them have their moment instead. But
it’s also possible, given what she is seeing and the fact that the monsters are all
male and that she does not know Carl, she was feeling sufficiently paranoid and
protective that she followed Carl to make SURE he wasn’t “inspired” by what he
was watching instead, and left when she was sure he was comforting and not
predating.
I don’t believe Janice is a complete “Karen” type she may of just wanted to check on Tenshi
and seeing Carl doing that she quietly left he’s clearly a father and wanting to both protect her
from the heartbreak she’s feeling and help her to know she’s protected from the pedo’s as well.
I know after my sons’ close call my oldest was so shook he stole the pen knife I had in my tool
belt just in case we had to set up meetings with the school counselor after school over that.
My take on the situation as well.
The only thing harder to take would be personal experience.
And if Tenshi had experienced that she would not be alive now.
Neither would the others, but they are less likely to be victim.
However, Tenshi could have.

I’m happy to see that too cops have such a bad reputation due to a few bad cops or cops that have made bad decisions.
