told me what day a it was. Somehow I doubt Palas is likely to be any
more trusting of Mitchel.

Catians were doing, had Council President Aadam Hitarn an Loria

I found this a couple of days back. I think it goes a long way
towards explaining a lot of what we see happening these days.
I find Mitchel’s grin very disturbing at best lol which makes me
think the humans have decided to play the long game and not make a
move until the Empire is relaxed and caught with their pants down
it’s a tactic that’s been done many many times by governments in
the real world. Need an example? Cuba, we helped Castro take over
and then he turned on us and went with Russia and communism. I was
just a boy when the Bay of Pigs happened but I’ll never forget how
close we came to WWIII.
They do have an emerging military and trade empire as neighbors. Forgiving
as the Caitians are it would be stupid not to play nice with them. They
probably also have gotten wind on how new this Empire is new to space
warfare and has seen how frightfully effective they were. Considering they
have done this with nearly no stellar infrastructure and haven’t even an
entire world behind them? What happens if they do? Sure, we don’t know how
much he has found out about this new Empire, but the more they do find out,
the more it is in their interest to be on their side.
If they have guessed that by now the Empire controls the officially
known access points to their sector of space, their backdoor becomes
extremely important. Anyone can see that this can break any stalemate
at Caitia and Dogusia. Not only strategically, but this would enable
the Empire to wage a lengthy trade war. If the indications and guesses
are correct, the Core Worlds would be at a severe disadvantage. If their
fleet is as outdated and small, they would be hard pressed to protect
their border, enabling the Empire to raid their shipping freely. Not
only would that interfere with their profits, it also slows the build-up
of their fleet. At the same time the Empire gains transports and their
cargo while expanding their own forces and those of their allies.
With the asteroid mining and production alone the Empire’s takeover of
Terra was already inevitable. Now expanding on earth will add the personal
they need in the long run.
The one thing that will stop the Empire from conquering the Core Worlds is
in numbers of their population. While we don’t know how many core worlds
there are, I doubt that Terra and Caitia have the numbers to conquer them
all, even if they could use their entire population and those of their new
allies. However, as long as the Core Worlds don’t know this they’ll be
fearing exactly that. That would make it easier in the eventual peace
negotiations.

and had to get some of my thoughts of my chest.

Was worried for a moment previous page Seb might get mugged
in the park, but it looks too nice for that. Then we find
that he “mugged” himself on the dance floor!
LOL Being an “older gentleman” myself all I can say is ummm…
“Toldya sooooo!” I knew he was going to go straight to somewhere he
could lay down and whimper and moan softly while waiting to “die” lol.
Still he’s got to be in decent health just to keep up with her!
Sad thing is what would happen if she wanted to go dancing with him again?

me right now” lol
As the song says “I ain’t as good as I once was, but I am as good
once as I ever was” implying that afterwards they are wrecked for
days or weeks as opposed to doing it again day after day. I know
the feeling when I pick up and move things I shouldn’t because I
can. Then for days after I am pressed to just lift my arms
without pain.
We all gotta go sometime Seb, but what a way to go!
