She’s got that crack/meth look about her minus the the mouth sores
and the raspy, barking cough… oh and the missing teeth. I’m
surprised she can stand up with roller skates, much less move around.
Nice reference and you’re not wrong! Keep in mind the Vorlons
were just as much at fault in that war as the Shadows were. I
had a hunch the Dragons were going to back up the Catians in
this they are the Dragons “chosen ones”.

Yes! The Dragons use their “Hail Mary” play there. And deliver a message to
all the core worlds. A simple “These are our friends so do NOT mess with them!”
Jim, I think if you had a hard sneeze you could take him out. I’d love to know
what they are on and/or smoking, clearly the brains have left the building lol.
Typical conspiracy theorist thinking “You don’t look like me or act like me
there for, you’re the enemy!” Here buddy, take these two flat earths and
call me in the morning 😉

“You know I can take you.” Pretty explicit. He does have half a head on the guy.
Besides, most SJW types are wussies when you get down to it anyway. The ones
I’ve interacted with were all bark and no bite. Nobody whose needs others to “validate”
them is much of person anyhow. I have always known who I was and never needed
anyone’s validation – except my folks’ that is. All children want that.
The scene about the Park? I am reminded on a scene from Deep Space 9
where Quark schools a Vulcan (Sakonna) about logic and the cost of peace.
She was prepared to pay any price for peace while he argues that right
now she could have peace very cheap, because no one had an advantage
right now. All they had to do was stop fighting and start negotiating.
Why am I reminded? Because they seem to think that their protest is
the only way to save/get the Park, but it seems no one has tried any
other way. It’s going to be interesting where that is going.
The situation at Xanadu?
Now there is a twist. Suddenly the Empire might have gained more time.
Now they will probably hesitate longer before they throw out the mutual
defense treaty. Which gives them time to consolidate their position and
react to the possibility of there being a an FTL method that does not
rely on jump points. And the consolidation might net them more members.
Protestors claim they are “trying to make change” or “right wrongs to the people”
all the while they have no clue as to how to actually do that. It’s mostly “pay attention
to us and give us what we want” without making a real effort. Jim is doing it the right
way and it’s freaking them out.
The Catians didn’t just buy time, they are now members of the counsel and shown
they have most of the votes to back them up. Any act against the Empire will trigger
a major war the core may or may not win but will cost them very heavily either way.
Plus they’ve lost the Dogs and the Ptera two of their favorite methods of “fixing”
problems.
Yes, acting against the Empire will trigger a war. But I don’t think they will give
up the power and the profits they have. Besides, their economic system depends on it.
Someone will break the council at Xanadu, sooner or later. Especially when news
filter back what is happening at the rim.
From what we heard they have the big ships and with their secret FTL drive they think
they still have the edge. They also might think that simply scaring the Caitians back
into line. Especially as long as they don’t know about the Sol system.
Very good point. Since their reps haven’t returned from Catia yet,
they still think they’re up against one rather primitive planet.
Now… The Ptero know about the Empire and it’s fleets, do the
Grass-Eaters? And will the Ptero say anything?
The Empire in just a few short years have become a fairly strong force to be reckoned with
plus they are building up their newest members as well. Now they have the support of the
Ptera which are already a strong core member and the Dragons. The core worlds can’t legally
do anything. I for one would not want to try and stop these changes it would end badly for
the core! I hope this means the Dragons will in some way make their opinions known more
often from here on out.
I forgot to mention that people I knew who were conservative took actions that
resulting in many tens of thousands of acres becoming reserves and parks that people use today.
Wise actions have to have somebody explain them to other people. education can achieve so much.
I know as I have talked legislatures into changing votes by educating them.
I never was paid for such actions. It was the right thing to do. The ecology and state
benefiting by the educated legislators making good decisions. And that started when I was a
mere child.
Waving signs and staging protests never work like those tree huggers I mention a while back. If you want to
do a good thing you have to gain information and work through the system not try to force or fight it. Protesting
can be a tool but not the only way to get things done. Nor is it informative, communication, facts, figures, and
clear explanations are the best way it’s not easy or fast and takes effort on your part. Protestors are just trying
to use the “easy” button. I’m glad to see that story I posted show up like this it’s a clear example of what I was
talking about! At least these guys are respecting the law in a small way.
When I had surgery last December they kept me for 2 weeks in the hospital
and a week in rehab but it was my kidney they worked on, they might keep
Jason up to a week or so depending on how well he did.
Did you notice the Stilyagi on the bench in the background.
I believe they are Karen and Seth with their
cat Tripod from the Stilyagi early story.
I noticed how Seth stood up when the confrontation started.
Maybe the Empress asked them to keep an eye on the situation.
I seen them, Seth might also watching out for any fallout from the fight,
he does watch over Karen as well.
Not that Jim is strong enough to pick up Allen and throw him that far LOL!
“I name all my cats “Dammitcat”.
That’s what I call ours a lot of the time. She gets under foot a lot. We have ceramic tile
in our (rather “compact”) kitchen and she will lie on the floor like she wants a belly rub.
I can’t tell you how many times the wife and I have almost fallen over her which could
be really bad. She also scoots into our bedroom when I come back in from the rest of
the house. That wouldn’t be bad if she would stay but she won’t. About 5 minutes after
I get settled she comes up to me wanting to be let out. “Dammitcat” indeed!
My father has a cat named Jax, real cocky little turd I was eating dinner, he hopped
up in my lap and proceed to eat from my plate like it was his. I loudly hissed at him
so he growled, turned, and scratched me on my face and ran off. I won’t type in what
I yelled at him while chasing him LOL.

It’s all good I had to laugh about it too, he was an old cranky cat he’d attack my wife’s lap dog for fun too,
sadly he had kidney failure and didn’t make it last spring but even my father was sick of Jax scratching him.
One point I heard him threaten Jax that he was going to have me shoot him while I was patching up his
ankle. They were a good match my father’s 88 and just as cranky LOL. At least HE doesn’t bite and scratch LOL.
The girl on roller skates has a resemblance to the zombie Angelina Jolie.
ANNNND a loss by one vote.
Best stay home guys. You will lose.
She’s got that crack/meth look about her minus the the mouth sores

Not without messing up his suit. At least getting blood on it.
Dragons seem to be this timeline’s Vorlons.

Excellent B5 reference. TY for the reminder.

If the Dragons are for the Catians, best tread carefully……
And for Allen to accuse Jim of selling out……
best tread carefully, Allen…..

Starting to worry.
When I had surgery last December they kept me for 2 weeks in the hospital

Haven’t heard from iainnahearadh for a while, either.
Many people who used to comment here don’t, any more.
I miss them.

Different cat, Tripod is black.

A Siamese named Ash? I dunno…
But then I name all my cats “Dammitcat”.

Yeah, that’s cool.
Looks like the talking Siamese from “Theresa Speaks Out” (referencing animation porn)
