did you know: Coke cola bottle shape is trademarked. (competition & gross marketing)
“IF you want to free advertise. go for it.”
the trademark started in 1916 (official 1960) with the cocoa pod shape.
also known as the Hobble Skirt from the skirt with the same shape..
I wonder about this blonde, is it a out-right thief story
or is this a round-about way to get into touch with him?
The plot thickens…
No wait, that’s the stew I’m cooking heh.
Hmmm… Interesting, he did listen, and seems to be taking
it at face value. They may be the brains of the GC, and if
they back the Empire, Katrina’s job might get a bit easier.
I still don’t like funk-frog’s mind control, but maybe he’s
learned his lesson there too. As Kelly’s reaction showed,
anyone can be under someone else’s control IF they don’t
know how to tell that they are being influenced.
I showed my son an example print picture using a
duel-color filament and he asked me if I could print
it, it’s a “fallen king” skull on a pedestal with a crown,
pretty demonic. Shiny metallic plastic that changes
color depending on which angle you look at it. There’s
both bi-color and tri-color like that, but it’s pricey, so
I got a 200 gram roll for testing.
I told him I could print a skull, hollowed out with
a tribal spear stabbed through the skull that’s the
pedestal. He loves it, I worry about him sometimes…
Not really, I had my share of evil thoughts before
I met my wife, had kids, and realized that doing
those things could remove them all 😉
Still fun to think about though! 😀
Keep that laptop unplugged, isolated, air-gapped, in a Faraday cage,
until an expert has the time to fully examine it.
Who knows what nasty software surprises have been loaded onto it?
RE: TGW008 and onward, then restarting at TGW041.
Jonathan said it was a school laptop which means it was either
stolen or a student is going to lose their scholarship.
I’m not getting the vibe it’s a covert attempt,
more like a misguided attempt to meet Jonathan.
Or a newsie trying to generate content.
My thought is she’ll enjoy the exile island planet,
plenty of fresh air, home-grown food, and lots of new friends
that I wouldn’t trust much less turn my back to…
The laptop has been out of school control,
possibly tampered with (Trojan horse,
malevolent virus, worm, ransomware,
other nasty bugs).
Best to be safe, then have to say “OOPS!
All systems are now infected! Including
all Empire systems”. You can never be
sorry by assuming worst case at the beginning.
Oh I agree, that is a risk. But after the fall
I think any tech man with half a brain would
have special tech just to protect from the
worm the CIA stupidly dropped on the world
for no good reason. Much less any would-be
hacker.
Perfect description of her, she’s a sweetheart when she’s allowed to be.
And Katrina carries an olive branch that she’ll beat you to death with
if you try any funny business!
The new ones about Earth vs the galaxy, usually AI narrated.
Usually with Sarah and Marcus Chen as heroes.
“The Galactic Council declared Earth a Deathworld”, etc.
I watch a few of those from time to time.
Not as much or as often as I like (unfortunately).
There’s another scifi channel on YT, “Dust” that
you might enjoy. Much better produced than the
new AI YT SciFi stories.
And yes, I grew up on many of the scifi, monster,
and horror stories and movies of the day.
Not to mention the Big Three; Heinlein, Clarke,
and Asimov (and dozens of other authors)
I do all the time, I don’t share them much because I
don’t know everyone’s tastes. Plus many are older
movie clips or TV clips. I blame the movie
“Forbidden planet” for my love of sci-fi/monsters, that
and a show on UHF 32 (pre-Fox network) called Creature
Features heh. They ran all the old-time sci-fi/monster B movies.
I think one of the worse movies I watch was this post-apocalyptic
movie about an “alien” attacking a group of survivors hiding out
from radioactive “fog,” it was mainly after the big-boobed blonde
heroine. Of course… Funniest part was the “monster” was a guy
in a gorilla suit, except it’s head was a 50’s style space suit
helmet, and during shooting it got turned sideways, and they
just kept filming. Not to mention the bloopers they left in.
Oh sure! Not to mention Space 1999, UFO, Dr. Who, and a host
of other’s over the years. I guess that took the place of the
sports many guys watch, it just let me live through them despite
weak plot lines and poor writing heh. Oh and bad budgets…
Oh, look. It’s a Karen.
I can’t find your email re Teresa AAA. Please resend it.
I’m rarely online any more, it’s too ugly for me.
Still the angelic email addy?
thine_angel@netzero.net
I really want your ideas! (This goes for everyone)
Okay, just resent it.
We know PC, You’ve thanked many of us for ideas.
Like the story like about Jim and Emma and the
park he wanted to setup.
I really like the poster behind Jonathan.
At least the Ambassador is giving
an honest opinion of Teresa. So far.
Same here, I seen a t-shirt my son wants to get,
it’s a grinning skull with a battle axe saying:
“I can fix stoopid, but it’s gonna hurt!”
I might get one as well, but I want to see his before
I drop $60 on a t-shirt that might fade in a year.

I’m amazed that no one here seems to watch sci-fi videos on youtube.
Specifically which?

I liked the creature features as well.
Then of course Star Trek and Star Wars.
