In a battle Teresa would be a killing
    general not a murdering one.
She would lead and not send.

    Paul Revere???

.. the midnight ride of 5 people to warn of british invasion…
Now imagine a ship zipping through their fleet,.
      broadcasting INS fleet is coming…
THEN a fleet just “Appears” out of weapons range…?

Don’t forget the “fake fleets” idea Teresa and others were
cooking up, and if none of the GC ships can detect mass,
it’s fairly easy to use the g-drives to fake super dreadnought
mass from drones. P’tero sensor suites and such go a long
way. I could see 2-3 fleets show up, looking like dreads and
super dreads with Destroyer and Frigate “support” ships in
formation. As long as they sit there looking scary, that should
        be enough.

Two good reasons that Teresa does that, The first is to show the
men that no one, not even herself, would be asked to do anything
she wouldn’t. Secondly, nothing worth doing is ever easy. A true
team works together and works hard, no slackers that watch and
    give bad advice.

As I thought, the GC knows that the Empire is way ahead on weapon
and ship tech, This is like a large group of lap dogs making noise and
hope it’ll scare off a group of rottweilers. Bad idea, the Rotts will get
tired of the noise. If it came to an actual fight, the GC wouldn’t last long.
I know if they are like my wife’s dog, just a steady stare was enough to
make it whimper and roll over. I’m starting to think the GC is far less
of a threat than the core was.

the midnight ride (on April 18 1775) to warn the colonial militias that the british were landing.
out of the dozen riders, there were 5 key riders,. Paul Revere the leader, and made a hero tho
he did not complete the mission. (from Boston to Concord, then to Lexington.)
William Dawes rode similar route, was also detained. Samuel Prescott rode a third route and
completed the mission. Israel Bissell warned other key points in Massachusetts.
Sybil Ludington (16 female) rode into the morning to warn NYC…

also – useless info: Concord & Lexington are now part of Boston (suburb).
so,, a less that 20 mile horse back ride..
Miz. Ludington rode over 200 miles in under 20 hours…
YES. the main attack was in Boston.. but her warning, allowed the ‘reserves’
to get there in a timely manner. (days not weeks.)
