Speed learning, I wonder if Taritha’s dragonfly will have a hand in that?
I would make sense that the D’flies could do that, embed memory flashes
in images, to unspool in their minds like old memories.
I’m hoping the show of force is to intimidate the Empire’s forces, but it
screams that the GC are about launch an invasion (again) on Earth and
their visit to the GC is going to be turned into a info mining attempt.
Looks like Chardis had best get on the FTL comm and warn

Caution is good but we don’t know anything yet. They COULD
be preparing to meet an invasion from another galaxy, in which
case they’d LOVE to have the Wolf Empire as allies.
Do we have any idea how many of the Milky Way’s 200 to 400
billion stars harbor inhabited planets or how many of those
are in this Galactic Council? 400 is possibly a microscopic
portion of their combined fleets, and Andromeda is multiple
times bigger. 200,000,000,000 stars at least in the Milky Way.
And no, I don’t think an extragalactic invasion is what PC is
planning, but it IS possible.
I looked it up, several sites say 300 million potentially habitual worlds.
It is just as likely they are thinking that the Empire is coming to
enslave the GC, which is wrong, but they seem to be a collection
of slavers themselves. So they are reacting like this. Amassing
all their available ships into a huge defensive fleet. I would think
if there was a bigger threat nearby Abraxis would have known
about them. There might be, but the GC is the current threat and
much is unknown about the beetle-looking guys and the blob that
was talking to the shitbat general…
“Heh. Do you have plans for this weekend?”
Soooo…..inviting the royal couple for a
round of training with Her Marines?
That is, until said training is interrupted by
an FTL message from the fleet at the GC.
(PC, you’re as bad as the old radio, TV, and movie

Oh yeah, I forgot she was going to the training grounds this weekend.
It would be ideal, they get to see why Teresa is so loved and respected
as well. And we can see how they do as well.
Nothing wrong with the episodic story telling, I’m not as big of a fan
of the Lucifer series as my wife but the ending of the show surprised me.
(no spoilers) PC has the perfect combination of fun, funny, and dramatic
that makes good story telling. That’s why I think it would make for a
good TV show IF the right writers were to help him for a weekly show.
And the woke types were kept away, the Star Fleet Academy show died
because of that crap.
