    And the choice is????
Katrina knows exactly who she is.
Which is more than most people.

So this is the guy that was responsible for the ‘droids creation?
Then he’s not MM, just another sick pedo. I still think they should
have an industrial wood-chipper on standby rather than a noose
    anyway.

Poor Katrina, at least I was (mostly) fixable, she may never have
what people all should have: feelings. For a diplomat, it’s kinda
good thing, too many diplos have started wars over being butt-hurt.
    Not to mention world leaders.

      Wait, wait, wait…
      That means…
      Every Vulcan in
      star Trek is a
      full psychopath?
      By CHOICE?!?
      LOL!

Actually, Scars, Vulcans DO have emotions and an ego. They
Simply chose a path of strict CONTROL of said emotions.
After they blew away a frighteningly large chunk of Vulcan’s
moon (and potentially Vulcan itself) they were so afraid
that they decided, as a people, to pursue logic and hyper
rationalism. They still HAVE emotions, they simply choose
to keep them under rigid control. Romulans (who are the
descendants of Vulcans who refused to follow Surak) are
quite passionate. There are even some Vulcans (Sybok
ST:TUC) who choose to freely express their emotions.

I know Bill, I was just joking. It struck me
as funny that any race would decide to be
like that for so long that it’s unhealthy
          to express them.
Any Psychopath can do great things or
horrible things using logic and facts and
society shuns them in fear. I have to fight
to keep my emotions, I do it to protect
my mind, not by choice, it just happens
and I have to fight to bring them back.

I wouldn’t describe Katrina as a psychopath, really.
A better description would be that she is… incomplete.
She knows that right and wrong exist, she just can’t
            quite understand the difference.
            So she searches for guidance.

psychopath is born that way. (which is me.) sociopath grows that way.
and no not all labels fit. labels are used in grouping.
IE: homophobia. a fear. most who have it don’t fear it. it’s just wrong.
like Katrina, i no write an wrong. 🙂 and have one close for guidance.!

I know, my shrink kept using both terms,
guess it’s why the official comment was
              that I was border-line schizophrenic.

Not quite… Vulcan acknowledge that they have emotions and suppress them.
The purging of emotions is supposed to act as away to ‘center’ the individual,
allowing the individual to think without the shading of emotions.
Vulcan, from Star Trek, are supposed to be people who feel their emotions more
Intensely than most other sentients, which, unfortunately, lead them to nuking
        themselves in their past.
With this in mind, one has to wonder if Vulcan, prior to their nuclear conflict, was
actually a garden planet? If true, in the Star Trek universe, could the Vulcans have
been the elves in Earth’s myths and legends? It’s pretty much known that they
had Warp Drives for a very long time before ‘officially’ made first contact with Earth,
so, it mightbe possible that they made contact with earth thousands of years ago.

        Just a little side trek…

It’s very possible, the ST: Enterprise showed a team examining Earth’s
population and of course, deemed us as primitive and useless. Judgmental
as always. When you embrace only facts and logic you lose the the
ability to see potential, even to the point of ignoring facts to cling to the
          accepted status-quo.

Sounds a bit like both the Far Left and the Far Right.
Both of the extreme sides tend to become self deluding,
ignoring reality or anything thatis counter to their extreme
            Beliefs…

no noose – hanging by / on a rope (550 cord).
over the chipper, till he falls in…
      and running just above idle,
so as not to do the job in a instant.!

Naa, the heavy-duty ones have a “slow feed” setting,
for the large branches or tree trunks. Just place them
in feet first so they can watch…

I think PC has a special punishment for him. However,
as we saw with Samuel and the CSA president, he’s not
in to showing us gratuitous torture. We’ll have to wait and
see, but will probably be like “Ah, Perfect!”.

That said, quoting one of my favorite philosophers, Inego
        Montoya, “I hate waiting.”

I should say ONE of them, if he was the one that got “cooked” by the small girl
android. “I hurt one of my customers when my heat exchanger kicked in” Good!

Sigh… My father is getting so bad I’ve had to start taking him to bed.
Otherwise he’ll try to sleep in his chair. This morning he asked me
where my elder sister’s ex was, mumbling about a wedding he had to go to.
That was over 45 years ago.
For my wife, she now has a pain medication, a strong one.
They aren’t worried about her getting addicted anymore.

That picture was taken in 1987, (back when I still had hair)
    that’s Luckylady next to me.
she’s about 6 months pregnant with my youngest there.
I also found a grade-school pic of her,
but I’ll see if I can scan it and post it on dev-art.

Neither of us liked having our picture taken,
that’s why I’m flipping off the camera and
Luckylady is sticking her tongue out.

Heh, Luckylady corrected me, it was our eldest, not youngest.
The play-pen was for friends of ours first born who I had to
crop out to get the pic to fit. Connie, the friend that passed
away last year, is next to me, her son was roaming around at
      the time.
