That’s no different from a cartoon character pulling
6 different sized guns from behind their backs, all
characters have a pocket universe back there…
AKA “hammer space.”
“Failure to understand could cost millions of lives”
I think Sun Tzu said it well, “If you know the
enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the
result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself
but not the enemy, for every victory gained, you
will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the
enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every
battle.”
Or, as GI Joe would say, “Knowing is half the battle!”
Hmm. Matthew’s Stilyagi she knew how to contact, or her own
group created in imitation of his? Either is as interesting as the
fact that she appears to be on a first-name basis with a man
who should have been a competitor if not an adversary up until
now.
I’ve said that before. Competitor, opponent, adversary and
enemy are not synonyms. Too much of the current situation in
the US government, including this shutdown, are because we
elected people who don’t know the differences, and allowed
ourselves to be deluded into forgetting them.
For all we know she was a member of the Stilyagi,
she did say she used to work for Matthew. That
would explain her abilities. Trained by Matthew and
Kimi? That’s one hell of a resume.
Sorry I went MIA, dealing with the hospice people is trying. I did get
my father on it at least. He’s got a visiting nurse now, takes some of
the worry off.
She looks totally different now! I figured after her bug transmitting what
MM said she’s go to Matthew, I’m sure a trip to another world will be
in her future. After Matthew and Kimi sucks everything from her
impressive brain of course.
I suspect the demons are a rough-n-tough types, insecure enough to
lash out at anyone that might be a threat, but had so much fun doing
it that it became a way of life for them. In their arrogance they thought
having so much success before meant they were big-n-bad to not worry
about anyone being better. Since the Navy doesn’t flaunt their might
except in battle they figured they were good to go. They assumed that
since they couldn’t see it and the Navy didn’t react, they were in for an
easy victory. BIG mistake, now they have an enemy that can wipe the
galaxy of them if needed.
The FTL comms could be placed on the transport platforms for FTL
travel, and another on one of the heavier ships, that way it limits
the need for every ship to have one since the power requirements
are so high.
I have wondered if the rejected drives still produced the same power
output as the good ones since the ones used in vehicles were rejected
for ship use.
It’s complicated, sort of like how Intel numbers their processors. They’re all
the same chip, but some are defective. Maybe they have lanes that don’t
work, or something that forces an I9 to be downgraded to an I7 or I5…
Commercial grav units are the same as military, but on the lower end
of the manufacturing tolerances… Maybe less power or too much
waste heat or whatever. They aren’t designed as commercial grade,
that’s just where they test at.
Or how electronic resistor tolerances are chosen.
That’s true, I was taking a course on electronics when my wife and I
moved in together… I did sorta lose interest for some reason 😉
But I was surprised they would design a resistor, make prototypes,
and would cause them to fail to test the limits of the designs.
Some of the larger ones would be rather spectacular. One of the
large ones exploded! This was before microchips of course. That
one was the size of the resistor coils in the later ’70s cars. Popped
like an over-inflated balloon. First “microchip” I seen was the size
of a SD card and more than twice the thickness.
I should add my thoughts on the FTL comm is since they draw so much power,
it would cripple a ship using the comm because of the power drain. They’d still
have missiles, but the auto-defenses and the FTL drive wouldn’t be usable while
it’s in operation. So dropping out of FTL and drop Toby’s for anti-missile defense
while the comm fires up.
or, like the Titanic and a few others…
radio has it’s own power,. augmented by ship power.!
a grav power with hi cap, battery. it’s not like they are
transmitting 24/7…
they would only need one room for power an batt…
In P7? yeah I believe it is. It makes sense, Angel would have the
hardware for defense while Matthew mobilized a recovery team.
Or maybe the secret exit from Angel’s basement…
Whew. Glad that’s done.
Thank-you. Where did the guns come from?
A stash in the brick wall?
The purse isn’t big enough.
this is a comic,, picked up between 3 & 4…
and yes a FMG could fit in that bag…
I know it’s not real, but I am not familiar
with those guns either.
Are they the ones that fold up?

See Wednesday going through airport security in the latest
NETFLIX series for the live action version (still cartoony).

I seen that on YouTube, first thing that popped in my head was Mala heh.
Probably a pocket similar to the one the
Highlander kept his sword in. 😉

I think the Navy proved that to the Demons quite nicely heh.

I’m sure she knew all of this, it’s just a precaution and/or
an escape route. No need to create her own, too easy to
be found out.

Yep. Competitor or Opponent she’s fine with. Adversary is
probably getting iffy. Enemy is right out.

Is that an exterior view of Angel’s pub? So, this is Jerico.
And my bet she’s headed for Angel’s back door.
