then my eldest son and his wife show up and gift us with a 2017 Sonic with minor
front-end damage and a small leaky water pump. It’s a basic model, hand-crank
windows, no cruise control. 112k miles. Spunky little thing.
Speedo goes to 140 mph….
The Sonic with the 1.8 engine is famous for coolant leaks. Some of the
parts are really difficult to change. Change the timing belt if it hasn’t
been done recently.
Water pump lists as $110 at the parts store, RockAuto.com has them for $50,
and my son has a friend that can change it for me. I’m going to put it in my
son’s name, considering recent events, I figured it’d be for the best. And at
32 mpg, if he’s having a light month, it’d be much cheaper on his pocket to
refill at the pump. I love the larger doors on it, The HHR doors are too high
and narrow for my father to get in/out of easily. AND the AC does work! 😀
Or at least put a left-foot gas pedal, my right can’t find the gas/brake
pedal reliably and i tend to slowly slow down if I don’t watch the speed.
I use my left foot for the brake as it is.
There’s cheaper one’s out there, I’ve checked, but you get what you pay for.
All dash controls are on both levers including the radio. so I can’t use that
one without disabling something else. It does have a working back-up cam…

doctor’s appointments, so I ordered a webcam. The first one I bought was
back in ’96, almost $100. The one I just got was $25, with a built-in mic.

It kind of spooked people, when I was talking I looked at it,
when I wasn’t I watched the screen. So to the other person,
when I spoke it was as if I was looking slightly down at them,
when they were talking I was looking up past them. Psychological dominance.
Most people mount webcams above their screen, making them appear subservient.
Yesterday, from 11am to 1:30 pm, we fought all 7 cows to get them
into the stock trailer. want didn’t help was one had to remain behind
for his new owner to collect. It was Houdini, and guess who escaped
4 times on us in the process? Once during the loading and 3 more
times while I was fixing the fence’s damage. At one point he managed
to get around and into the neighbors yard. Little turd actually mocked
me when I tripped and fell. So I threw my hat at him! I guess he was
looking for his family, didn’t settle down until dark and is now laying
around looking lonely. Next weekend he’ll be gone, gone, gone!
Reading his words I couldn’t help but think unless he has beaucoup
resources we don’t know about that time has long flown. Then I
had a fantasy thought about what an investigative team would look
like, with a Human, a Cat, a Dog, a Rat and a Dragonfly, and maybe
an Android, all using their natural talents and -senses- as well as
technologies from all over the Empire.
Plus, there will be many, many new members in the years to come.
Who can say what skills the Elves and such have? The demons may
have a few, if any can let go of their violent, brutish behavure.
Have the dragonflies ever reported before that there are people,
human or not, they “can’t read”? I wonder how Big Bad found out,
or if it’s something he’s had done. That seems more likely than
that it’s a “rare genetic quirk” or something, given that his chief
aide has the same “quirk”. This may be the most significant tidbit

Also check the air intake hose below the air cleaner. They are
prone to cracking and cause the engine to run poorly.
