Vocabulary question (I figure somebody can answer)
If “sober” is the opposite to “drunk” (intoxicated on alcohol)
what is the opposite to “stoned” (intoxicated on cannabis)?
Complete the analogy:
“sober” is to “drunk” as ????? is to “stoned”

Nothing canny, I get too many blood tests.
I have once. Given to me because I was complaining about
minor back pain. I thought it didn’t affect me at all, and it
didn’t the pain, but while out walking the dog I realized I
couldn’t maintain a steady thought pattern. None of the clues
that alcohol gives, I still felt sharp, but my mind wandered
and I couldn’t stay focused. I didn’t like that at all — I
couldn’t tell HOW impaired I was. And I don’t like being
impaired, don’t do alcohol much either any more.
It hits people differently, when I did it, my mind would hyper focus.
but I was ADHD as a kid, so yeah. Plus, doing after the accident,
it helped with the pain. I got the CBD oil gummies for the wife, it
did help her tremors, but she didn’t like the way they made her feel.
Food tastes better, music sounds more enjoy-able, and the desire
to lay back and relax was the main reason I liked it. I was naturally
high-strung so being able to relax and enjoy the euphoria was a
nice change. But after the wife and I started dating, I had something
better to spend the money on 😀
Immmm…..it’s been awhile.
I’m thinking “straight”.
I remember the term “burn-out” which refered to someone that
has done so much for so long they can’t get high anymore, I guess
“jonesing” might fit since that meant you were in need of “relaxing.”

Creating opportunities for people to better themselves cost money,
so yes she is using her money to help people.
Janice is just like the Sargent or chief of police in movies, just comic relief.
Although, if she starts ranting the woke agenda, I’m pretty sure she’d gonna
get hospitalized…
