After seeing the jangled mess in other countries, I’m not surprised
post-fall Japan will need some repair and replace (R-n-R?) on their
infrastructure. I’ve seen images showing how fast even major cities
will break down just after a few years. Like Los Vegas,
most buildings will become new dunes in a matter of months.
Before, they had to be intercepted after each jump and pointed
at the next wormhole.
Wormholes have mass, so a grav torpedo could pull itself into it.
Now, though, with onboard guidance,
they can go from wormhole to wormhole on their own without
slowing down until they reach their destination.
stupid rob idea.: small shield (grav power) around the guidance.
wont need to reset each jump. so you have the full burn from A
to B… but, for what ever reason don’t work on biological.

Yeah, that’s what I mean, they had to be resent manually.
Not a true FTL comm but pretty damned close! It only
makes sense that the Empire’s would fix that issue, since
they don’t need refueled at every WH. That would be very
handy to have during battle, a may-day buoy only it
heads home instead of sitting there waiting for pickup
in case of a sudden attack.
Well, it happened. Jasmine decided to SHARPEN her claws
on my leg. All I did was fall asleep at my desk. So she’d
banned from any lap visits until she learns that clawing
is NOT a sign of love. I’ve got seven band-aids on my leg
now and we all have spray bottles she’ll learn or become
an out-door cat! Grrrrr….. Oh and I renamed her to
“YOUFUKINGBITCH!” heh.
Now THAT’S why I require any cats we get to have 2
field mods. 1) Their reproductive ability (spay/neuter)
and 2) their front claws. It is absolutely non-negoti-
able! My wife’s cat still manages to startle and rake
her with its hind claws but it’s way better than the cat
still having front claws!
I got my cat to use only 1claw, very lightly,to get my attention.
Typically, if she’s on her cat tower, she’ll simply bat me on my back or shoulder,
with NO claws, to get my attention. One of the smartest cats I’ve ever been
owned by!

and even then, we called the

You were in Germany at roughly the same time I was
