    D’flies I know.
Locusts I know (even took one apart once).
    What is a “Skycat”?

    • Petercat
      July 17, 2024, 20:35 | # | Reply

It’s a Locust fitted out for surveillance.
It has so many sensors packed into it that there’s
a height limit for crew due to overhead clearance.
Got the nickname because the first one had a Cat flight crew.

    Damn! Shit’s gettin’ real!
Technicals? You don’t just find them
    anywhere. They’re made to order,
    depending on the weapons mounted
on them. This whole attack is premeditated
    (duh!).
And SOMEONE is due a massive can of ass-
whoop. Maybe even some canned sunshine.
Bomb it ’till it’s rubble, then make the rubble bounce.
    (Picture from today’s military……an inside
picture of a C130 loaded to the max with
    airborne troops, the caption reads,
“A Can of Whoop Ass on it’s Way to be Opened”)

I’m guessing they were a “gift” from a political deal before the fall,
wouldn’t be the first time something like that changed hands after
everything was said and done, money talks, etc… Nor would it be
that a friendly decided to “unfriend” the USA.
Yes, I”m looking at you, Cuba!

A Technical can be as simple as a pickup
truck with a weapon mounted in the bed.

To be honest, I had never heard of that term
          before, I was mostly guessing.

Uhm, from what I’ve seen, outfitting a technical is disturbingly simple.
Bolt or weld a weapons tripod onto the bed of a truck, mount weapon(s),
add ammo and but are willing to drive and fight from said truck.
Oh, yeah, Having a full tank of fuel and spare gas cans too.
Two or three guys could rig it up in an afternoon. A bunch of American
Rednecks? Probably in a couple of hours, plus they’d probably have
armor and a nitrous oxide engine boost added too.

Never underestimate smart Rednecks, nature’s low tech engineers…

So that’s why they were tracking Teresa,
figuring the main defense force would be with her.
Just about everyone is a survivor type in Jerico,
    so that’s just stupid! Gads,
these fools WANT to be wiped out!

Ah, so it was just a cover for the entrance,
I wasn’t expecting a full command center in there!
They do seem to really want Teresa,
which is a very bad idea, even she’ll fight to the knife!

I was only repeating what Admiral Ariste

I hate to say this, but this situation is the first real worrisome
attack Jerico has faced to date. Their tactics are weak, but they
do seem to have enough manpower to at least do some serious damage.
I’m sure the Empire WILL overcome, but at a price. It’ll take weeks
if not months to fully recover, but I think the navy is working on
some space-born responses these ass-clowns never thought about!
I get the feeling few enemies grasp the scope and power the Empire
    wields.
Maybe after this, THEY WILL! Yes, Grand Puufti,
that IS a destroyer hovering over your palace!
Oh, did you need some kitty litter for your cat box? Here you go!

Teresa is a lovely lady, with a huge heart,
but she’s seen the beast, and knows what
is important. Still, she’s still a sweet girl that

If Republicans or regular people had said half what those progs said just
in the intro the real “men in black” would have been at their in a heartbeat!
Imagine some regular Jane or Joe saying – IN PUBLIC – what Madonna
said. Multi-tier justice system and folks like us are on the wrong side of it.
Damn! Some days I’m glad I’m old!

    Just sayin’…
I used to have a 7″ Ruger Blackhawk .357. Iron sights.
I could hit a steel drum at 200 meters with
    .38 wadcutters every time.
780fps. It was, line up rear sight with base of front,
    top edge pf drum.
Squeeze trigger, bang… Wait for it… Wait for it…
    Distant *ping*.
150 meters with an iron-sighted rifle is nothing.
And the SS policy “In these circumstances” was to let
    him take the first shot.
Because, with a spotting scope at what,
    20X at 150 meters,
they couldn’t tell that he had a rifle and it was
    pointed at President Trump?
SO THEY LET HIM TAKE THE FIRST SHOT???

I get he was a former pres, that they didn’t feel he
was at any threat level, but as demonized as he has
been done by the media and the dems, anyone with
half a brain should have known that someone was
going to try. while everyone is pointing fingers and
laying blame, they should look in the mirror!

They knew he had a rifle. He’d pointed it at a local
cop forcing him to duck and lose his balance.
And do I understand the snipers were all local cops
because the SS “weren’t allowed to be on sloped roofs?”
None of this makes sense. Unless the kid was groomed,
and I really hate being one of “those guys”.

I’m with you. I have a feeling the boy was
“selected”, and groomed (probably by the FiBbIes).
There has yet to be close up clear pics of the patsy’s
      rifle……sooooo…..still not enough information.

It’s not clear, but probably this was just before the sniper
opened fire. One cop boosted the other up to catch hold of
the eave and pull himself up, but when his head came above
the edge, he was looking down the wrong end of a rifle. So
he let go and dropped 9 feet, landing hard enough that it
may have delayed the cops making a radio call a little.
The sniper had been seen, so it was time to take his shot.
I think that no matter how fast the local cops got on their
radio net, the message could not have been relayed to the
      SS net before shooting started.

At best they might have pointed out the target to the one SS
sniper that was on a rooftop and positioned to take out the boy,
but others had been pointing him out for several minutes. As I
interpret the videos I’ve watched, the SS sniper was already
watching the boy, but seems to have been told “don’t fire first
without orders”. I guess too many agencies were involved, so
someone had to ask around to see if it was a cop sniper from
      another police agency.

The third grossly unprofessional thing I see – after not posting
agents on that gently sloping roof in the first place, and
letting the boy somehow smuggle in a rifle and climb onto the
roof – was that the SS sniper was not only _not_ ready to shoot
when the boy started shooting, but took several seconds to get
ready and start shooting – while the boy took one aimed shot at
Trump’s head, then sprayed several rounds around the podium.

Time and time again, certain people have tried
to get rid of the man, and every time has backfired,
now someone tried the final solution and failed,
which backfired again. The end is near because
of this stupidity, and rather than doing the right
thing, instead trying to use this ugly mess to their
advantage, which is only another log on the fire.
“His bandage is too big” or “This was all staged!”
    Please…
Hey guys, here’s another straw you can grasp at.
    (holds out a slurpy straw)
It’s bigger than the ones you’re using now.

      They’re in a full-blown panic.
“My God, we’ve thrown everything we can at him,
      and he just gets stronger!”
Now, what is the absolutely worst thing
our enemies can do for themselves?
      The ABSOLUTELY WORST?
      A successful assassination.
What are our enemies going to try for?
      That’s right, a successful assassination.
      God help us all.

It is said, “When small men begin to cast big shadows, it means that the
sun is about to set.” We have some awfully small people casting awfully
long shadows – Merrick Garland, Steve Dettlebach, Chuckie Schumer –
so I suppose the sun truly is about to set on the republic to which many
of us here gave years of our lives. I’m kind of glad I’m old and unlikely to
see the fall. I know it would break my heart.

I’ve said it many times, men are faster, stronger BY NATURE.
It has nothing to do with society, it how we are made, period.
It’s a fact of DNA, not how we men plan things. Paranoid
accusations won’t change that. Women want to do men’s jobs?
Work out and train, don’t claim you can do it, then someone dies.
