members will actually be killed or mutilated. “God rods,” or threats
of something similar, on their homes, if they can be discovered,
has worked on leadership a few times. (At least two US presidents
have shown rogue leaders photos of their actual home and vowed
they would put a Tomahawk missile through the windows if they
didn’t cease and desist, apparently successfully.) ISIS has practiced
the same sort of thing, but in reverse, threatening the families of
fighters who opposed them. But since this is fiction, he can write
a successful counterstrike that might not work, or might be too
draconian to even be tried, in the real world.

target could prove quite useful. And, as the projectile self-destructed

Gads it’s been too long! Hot water heater element burnt out,
and the cold water tap in the tub clogged up with sediment.
I haven’t plumbed in ages, and I wasn’t a plumber to start with.
I worked on hot oil pipes and steam pipes.
house plumbing is a bit weak compared to what I’m used to.
One good thing about the water here in our little ranch development
is almost no sediment or accretion. Our water heater, the original
one that was put in the house when it was built in 1997, developed
a leak. I assumed the usual burnt-out element with a hole shorted
through the mounting plate, but both elements were almost completely
clean.
😛 I misspell and spell check just giggles and hopes I don’t catch it!
