AH HA, that is what was on the serving tray last episode! Then I could not figure
out what the brown shape was in panel #8, and did not find it on the tray in panel
#7. Now it is obvious :}
I’m glad I’m not the only one that thought that set up was ludicrously stupid!
It’s like some 14 y/o found a “really cool” virus and started to play with it, wrecking
people’s computers for the fun of it. I caught my eldest doing that very thing,
he’s lucky that I ever let him touch a computer after that.
Ah good! That confirms the hornies are on the empire’s side, even if it’s a
non-combatant role. It looks like the Empire has taken in the Fringe AND
half the core so far, it won’t be long now! This attack maybe the worse thing
AND the last Motha and the core will ever do!
I have to ask. What benefits does having the status of a
member kingdom without being formally named as such
give the Lopes? P7 indicates that at this time the Empire
may not be able to properly defend them. What do the
Lopes get out of such an arrangement? Equally
importantly what does the Empire get out of it?
Plus the shipping rates will be 35% less than the core costs,
and access to transport ships of Imperial design. I don’t give
a year or two tops before it’s official. The Empire is following
the Star Trek Federation concept without the socialism
aspect of it. More like capitalism without subjugation of the
core. I like it!
You and me both, I just gave up and use “it’s” for everything heh.
I know we have grammar/spelling folk around, but after I hit sixty
I just flip the bird and go about my business 😛
What a moron would misspell a key word to something that is
used in other languages? And made a key word a common enough
phrase to have a high probability to appear somewhere…
Most Americans are monolingual. It’s something Europeans make fun of
us about. But it’s not like we actually need to know a 2nd language. The
only reason Europeans are multilingual is that they have to be. So many
countries/cultures/languages in such a small area you’d have to know
multiple languages if you did any travelling. Getting back to the “spelling
error”, I doubt any of the people making the decision about the trigger
phrase had ever been exposed to German. I recognized it because I
took German in High School. I’m fairly certain PC thought up that
“misspelling” gag because of the time he spent stationed in Germany.
It’s exactly the sort of bone headed nonsense bureaucrats in alphabet
agencies would come up with.
Heh, Bill with my stammer and speech issue, trying to learn a new
language is hell, I tried in high school to learn spanish, hearing
myself was bad enough, much less the jokes and wise-cracks I
got from classmates. Not to mention if I had a nickel for every
breathalyzer test I ever took…
? chocolate bunny ??
A ‘hare’ brained sweet.
>chocolate bunny

“Coldly rational self interest with a touch of compassion”
Reformed Objectiveism
I think Ms. Rand would approve

protected but not a citizen. so at the end of the
war Nazi’s fled to Brazil instead.

damnit, I meant 35% less…
Guys? My post go poof! I pissed off the filter again 🙁
It didn’t like the way you spelled “subjugation”.
The spam filter is a real prig sometimes.
I knew it was misspelt, but spellcheck kept changing
it to subjugation, so I said screw it.
Wasn’t the word I was looking for. I wanted to state
they were “making X into subjects”
Isn’t that what it means?
subjugation:
1: to bring under control and governance as a subject : conquer
2: to make submissive : subdue
I have no room to say anything. I’m still having trouble
with “it’s” and “its”.
You and me both, I just gave up and use “it’s” for everything heh.

you forgot “Spanish.” in the US.
we are the only country in the world.!
that has “If you want to speak Spanish
please press #2.” on automated calls.
I get miffed if I have to press any button for english,
(grumbling) the bleeding hearts in this country…
