Is it me or is Milady out of focus in four?
Did someone mention flying to Marise?
Does she really even need a ship to fly?
So Kima can reproduce, Bunny Girls. Hmmm.

Her mouth looks a bit crooked, and her hair is casting shadows, but
otherwise she appears in focus. Though she does look several years
older (thinner face) in this story arc than when last we saw her in
      episodes 999 & 1000.

I think she’s got a partial smile, I noticed her mouth is a bit wider, and
her face is a bit taller, so I mark her as being in her mid to late 20s there.
Since there’s no real time-line in the comic, who knows other than PC
how much time has past since TGW-01.
Teresa was 13 at the start, waited over 5 years before she took office
(not counting the time she spent on the Pride) that would make her 18
to 20 when she took office. But that’s a wild guess, plus with her
bonding with Dagger, she may continue looking young til she’s 40 – 50+
years old. Like with Kathy, she’s going to look 18 long into her 60s.

        I want my pretty-faced Teresa back . . . .
(sorry this lady’s picture does not look like age progression,
but a totally different green haired woman.)
IMHO – because I am not capable creating of anything like this webcomic
        – so all I have is feelings of missing a very important person.

Actually, I agree with you. If I can’t make this one
look better, the old (young?) one shall return.
          Maybe post some examples…

    That’s one fast bunny!

Had to look up “interfertile”. So, since he was snipped
prior to going into space, it will have to be by way of
artificial insemination from his frozen specimens, right?

I’m thinking (hoping) that in this future, with the advances in
(micro-medical) technology, that Kima’s tubes can be re-tied.

And that was a cruel suspense, making us
think that Doc Rat had something unusual.

Yeah, I think PC was messing with us, with
all the toxic waste everywhere, that was,
and still is, a very huge threat.

When I had mine done, they removed the tube completely.
The idea of it for spacers is their DNA might have mutated
due to the long-term exposure to radiation. So even if it
could be reversed, might not be a good idea. Like in the book
“Glory Road” spouses would have egg and sperm collected,
and when they wanted a child, they’d send off a message to
the clinic, and boom! A professional surrogate mother would
        carry the child.

A long time ago, I read about a tiny gold valve that could be
implanted so the flow cold be turned off and back on as
        desired.
I remember it because of one comment: “Will they be able
to turn off just one and choose the sex of the child?”
Y’know, because each testicle produces a different sex…

          I remember that as well.
I remember thinking that it would be easy for that valve
handle to get partially turned with everyday body motions

Apparently, the author(s) of that know very
little of human male reproductive anatomy.
The sex is determined by the timing of sperm
deposition in relation to the timing of ovulation.
If the egg is waiting on sperm arrival- or
at the same time – results will be male.
Egg’s arrival after the demise of the
male gamete – results will be female.
          I am 3 for 3.

It was a joke. In primitive societies, some people
believed that each testicle produced sperm for only
one sex. So if, say, a soldier lost one in a battle,
he would only be able to father girls or boys, but
            not both.

Thanks to my car accident, I had trouble with getting my wife
pregnant. That meant all kinds of nasty things I had to do,
icing myself (NOT fun), a basal thermometer, calendar markings,
and so on. So that of been why I had boys and no girls, we
were hitting right on the mark each time there Ned!

Oh I’m sure, there is all kinds of weird ideas around that,
My wife had this idea of the angle I “delivered” my share
would effect the chances of the babies sex. “male sperm
swims faster” Not to mention pineapples and oysters… YUK!
NOT a good combo… It felt like I almost puked my socks…
As far as the the “three-be” guy, the “pron” industry mostly heh…
(didn’t want to trigger the filter)

As I understand it, the way the do vasectomies these days,
they are reversible. But he’d probably want to get his genes
checked for radiation damage, just to be safe.

I also wonder, if it would be possible to use his own
genetic samples to help reverse DNA damage using
        tailored retroviruses?

I believe nowadays they just kink it like a hose and tie it that

There is the option of temporary, (tubes tied) or permanent (cut and removed).
I oped for the latter because of my wife’s “lady problems” would of made
having anymore impossible, and the birth control pill was part of the cause.
Sadly too little, too late, she still had to have a hysterectomy 6 months later…

Similar here. My wife’s fourth pregnancy/third child nearly killed her. Another
would have. I went with the “no chance ever” option. That way I had her
for another 24 years. A bargain.

I felt the same, while I had more in me, she didn’t. We talked about
fostering or adoption, but shortly afterward I had a work accident
that ruined my spine, making me unable to work. It was hard enough
on my own children, much less a foster child.

Artificial or the old-fashioned way, what the doc said was that Kima can
trigger a pregnancy in Marise, and that the offspring will be all female and
have “few, very subtle terran traits”, essentially be bunny girls like their
mother. Either they will have very little of Kima’s DNA, or none with all such
“traits” being a matter of environment and upbringing, or his DNA will be
recessive in nearly all cases. Given that there’s no (known) reason the DNA
should be compatible at all, any of those is possible. There are examples
in the real world of parthenogenesis, unlikely but possibly even among
humans to my surprise. Sometimes it needs or can be triggered (at least in
lizards) by a sexual act that causes an egg to be released. Maybe this is
common in Leporidae. Or maybe their eggs actively attack sperm, consuming
them and only saving such genes as they think they can use. Who knows
before the author tells us? That wouldn’t be any stranger than some things
we know already exist here on Earth.

I’m starting to think the elder gods had a hand in how the other races
developed, some kept their animal form, while many took on a “human”
shape, while keeping the idea of their animal form. So it’s possible that
a mammal could breed with a different mammal. This is the first time
(that we know of) that different races had became mates, we can’t
count the Catains, they were a perversion of the human DNA, not one
by the Elder gods choice. The great apes share 98% of our DNA, it’s
the 2% that prevents breeding. I suspect the difference between The
Laporidae and humans is far less.

Teresa has definitely grown up! Pity we never met her mom, I’m sure she
was beautiful as well. I think Squirrel will be ok, I believe she’s over-thinking
it again. His brain doesn’t have a real connection to the parts that “feel,”
so if anyone can deal with stress, it’s him.

HA! welp, you forgot the “Meep, meep, and the wiggling toes in mid-air
before her launch off the ship! 😀 Thank PC and the good lord it wasn’t
what I had feared, very high levels of toxicity in her body. And of course,
with the news there is a good chance of interbreeding, and despite the
4 pallets of railroad ties across his crypt door, Hef is redoubling his efforts
    to get out!!!
Ms. Hefner, please explain to Hugh AGAIN those girls do not exist in this
universe. I’m too old to be chasing a half-crazed zombie with a bulk
sized bottle of blue pills and a contract, running to NASA hoping to book
    a flight… It’s scaring the norms…

PC, I doubled the thickness and blocked off both holes on the left side.
The part was only 0.5 mm thick, so this has changed it to 1 mm thick,
(or .1 inch) so not too thick, but thick enough you could drill if you need
to, carefully. This plastic isn’t as brittle as PLA, but it’s not nylon, so go
easy on it. Use a sacrifice board, something you don’t care if it’s got a
few divots. Now that I have the filters and the enclosure, I’ll pick up a roll
of white nylon next month, I’m pretty broke right now…

So far only colors I’m seeing is black, white, and natural.
I’ll keep looking, it might have to come from somewhere
else than amazon. Which is why I went to Micro Center
last week. Amazon looks at hobbyist level buyers, I’m
not going to be one much longer. My goal is at least 10
printers, half of which will run nylon. It melts at 265 C,
my Ender only reaches 260 C, but can’t maintain that

Teresa is his anchor, sort of. He has learned by observation
on a logical level how she thinks, so when he is in doubt,
he can consider what she would want. That, and the
Legionnaires around him, keeps him somewhat stable.
