professional much, but anyone else will only notice what she whats
them to. By the time a regular staff thinks there may be something
to report, a few hours later, they might decide to not bother :}
I’m not quite sure if her act is brilliantly
executed or if she’s overdoing it.
Either she’ll distract everybody from the boys around her –
or she might end up drawing additional attention.
Especially if people start to notice the contrast
between her and the rest of the gang.
I’m assuming an oversized gravity projector. Curious
to see how conservation of momentum (Newton’s Third)
doesn’t jerk the cannon as hard as the target.
My best guess is that there are other projectors pointed at massive targets
in the other direction computer correlated to *just* balance the pull of the
cannon, IF it is a heavy grav projector. Probably not something accounted
for back on that first mission but revealed by it.

southern bell” a bit too much, I married a gal from Kentucky
and while she was not afraid to speak her mind she was
never THAT open! (She had 4 brothers and 2 sisters so yeah)

They did strip the tech from the human ships, might
be a plasma cannon. 3/4 in thick beam of super-
heated plasma would cut just about anything fast.

It does bring home how they treat other races
here (at least this one), and just what fragment
