  1. Catman, where did you find that gorgeous Vette model?
That and the original Stingray Vette were the two
    most beautiful models ever!

      • JasonAW3

You guys b would hate me for this, but I would love a black
version with red scoops on the sides (The ones that are white
in the model above). I don’t know why I want that,
but I think it would look awesome…)

        • 68-69 Tuxedo Black,. (less than 500 in those years)
as a factory color, black was SO unpopular that it
was discontinued till 77, and then it was request
only. made a resurge in 85 after Nascar used all
          black vette pace car..

    • My favorite cars were: the ’68 Chevelle SS (396ci engine),
the ’79 Stingray w/side pipes, and my ’75 Camaro.

      • Mine have always been the sleepers – the ones that didn’t attract
much attention, like my ’70 4-door Dart with the 440 six-pack.
Nothing like 450HP in a lightweight, nose-heavy car with drum
brakes to give you a glimpse of what’s on the other side of
the veil once in a while.

        • I guess you could call my ‘maro a sleeper, it was a type-LT,
looked like one of those with a 250-6 but it had the drive
train of a Z28, 275 hp engine, 3:83 posi rear end, only thing
I hated was the weak rear springs and the 350 turbo trans
(damn thing would buck on launch).
It was the last of the steel bumper ‘maros.

    • Ever since I knew anything about them,
      I have wanted a 1958 Corvette.
When I was first seriously interested,
you could buy them all day for $10,000.
      Now it’s$50,000+.

      • JasonAW3

Yeah, but back then, $10,000 would be
        like about $60 or $70 thousand today…

        • Yes, classic cars have been a pretty decent
investment over the last 30 years or so.

          • Just as an example, a decent Vega today can go for 5-10 thousand
dollars. I “accidentally” (long story) bought a ’57 Chevy four-
door, which is not particularly valuable about 5 years ago for
$5,000. I turned around and sold it less than a year later for
$8,000…but I probably didn’t make more than about $1,000 on it,
considering the work I had to do on it. Virtually any car older
than about 1970 is worth about 4 times what it cost new. Now,
allowing for inflation, that isn’t a profit, but it’s still close
to what you would have gotten in a retirement account.

  2. Sam

Panel 7 – Dang – Catman!! Excellent touch with
the sergeant’s reflection in the Vette’s paint job.

    Panel 6 transitioning to panels 7 & 8. That cat’s
giving some serious stink eye to that Major.

    • I’d love to see a Dragonfly come in and hover behind her,
announcing over the bull horn that she’s to get out of her
car or be it’s new paint job! The .50’s start to spin up…

      *did you mean?:*
car or by to its new paint job!

      • “red mist”

        • I should of said “Or become the paint job”
Of course, the car would have been a smoking
wreck but she strikes me as the type that
          cared only for herself.

  3. I can believe she’s serious, Peggy IS in the militia,
That means she is NOT someone you want to piss off.

I think that Major pain is about to get schooled…
    I don’t who’s more pissed off,
the major or both the men there.

I spoke to my son about that multi-mag shotgun. it’s
only 2 not 3 mag tubes, but it holds 14 shells in the
mags and one in the bore. The brand is Keltec KSG.
Each tube holds seven rounds, and there’s a lever to
switch between them. He has different loads in the
tubes, one to tickle (bird shot), and one to settle
    things (buck shot/slug).

    • Sam

      Scars –
Did you mention that shotgun previously?

      • I can’t remember who it was now, but we were talking about
        my son’s “anti-zombie” collection (face-palm) and I had
thought it was a triple mag shotgun. He was (again) showing
me his collection and I seen it and asked.

        • He’s so much into that crap I had mentioned getting a
metal blade for my gas Stihl weed-eater, he found one
and bought it, damn thing looks like one of those
movie throwing stars! At least it works good…

        • JasonAW3

I think my dad would have loved that beast.
Now I gotta scrimp and save to get my own…
          Gee, thanks Scar…

          • Heh, you love it, as you can see it’s a pump-action,
but you can rack it pretty fast. My boy was showing
me and it wasn’t until the next-to-last shell that he
had a jam, and that was the fault of the bird shot he
was using, reloads are more likely to jam I guess.

    • I remember when Kel-Tec got sued.
In the documentation that comes with that shotgun,
they warn the owners to not use aftermarket pistol
      grips on the slide.
One fool added a cheap Amazon pistol grip,
and while he was slam-firing it,
the grip broke off and his hand ended up
in front of the muzzle as it fired.
It blew most of his hand off.
      He lost the lawsuit.
So he tried suing the manufacturer of the cheap grip,
but they are in China and told him to pound sand.
I don’t know if he tried to sue Amazon.

      • Heh, he was talking about getting one of those, I told him
if it broke he’d be lucky if it just flew back and punched him
in the face, he then asked if I could print him one, I told him
not even if I had a high-end printer using carbon fiber
        filament!

        • I think Kel-Tec sells one made for it.
Racking the slide on any shotgun, especially when slam-firing,
involves a HELL of a lot of force when it stops at either end
          of the travel.
I wouldn’t even trust Kel-Tec’s pistol grip for that!
Tell him to do a search online for stories about the lawsuit.
Many include photos of the injury before it was treated.
Even the “after” photos are pretty gruesome.

          • yes Keltec sells a Forend “Med-Evil 360”.
“But” the KSG paperwork does not recommend it.
(my KSG was bought in 2015..)
            it states
“it is known to work loose after repeated use.”

            • If I ever wanted to slam-fire a KSG, I would machine a full-length
thumbhole grip out of a block of aluminum, mounting on the full rail,
held on with a full 13 cross screws for secure mounting.
              Thumbhole for added strength.
Plus a barrel shroud extension so my hand couldn’t possibly reach
the muzzle. And I still wouldn’t slam fire it.

              • I mentioned this conversation to him, so I’m hoping
he takes the suggestions to heart. We’re talking about
building me an AR-15 with a .223 lower and barrel, my
shoulder dislocates easily so I have to be careful how
                much recoil it gets.
                He’s added a Ruger .762 sniper, with a 10x scope, I
teased him about climbing the water tower with it and
4 ammo boxes, but he has a fear of heights, so I
suggested a clock tower instead… The look he gave me,
                was “really? Asshole…” heh…

                • You could suggest that he use the sewers…

                  With the other clowns.

        • since i own “Alot” of Keltec. i went and looked at the lawsuit..
the shooter bought a locally made (printed) grip.
(IE: there was no metal in it anywhere.)(2 polymer mounting screws)
also, on mine i use a forend strap.
BUTT i maintain a Firm grip on the slide.! the strap is backup,.
in case of “Duh” moment or breakage.!!

Quote: “I made a mistake. That must be someone else’s fault
so let me sue someone to pay for my mistake.” Unquote.
Rowan Atkinson has a sketch were “Lucifer” tells ‘us’ about
the different parts of Hell – where ‘they’ have a whole
        section for lawyers 🙂

        • I believe they’ve since added a new
          section for “Karens” and protesters…

        • JasonAW3

Probably why you don’t want to try suing hell.
They’re pretty much lawyered up already…

          • Like all the jokes about a conversation between
God and Satan that end with Satan saying,
“Yeah, and where do you think you’re going to get a lawyer?”

            • Sam

A priest died and went to heaven. As was normal, his life was
reviewed, and as he had made all the correct, important decisions,
he was allowed to stay, and was given a nice, one-bedroom bungalow,
just down the street from several other preachers,
              and a couple of bishops.

After he’d be there for a couple of years, he saw a parade coming up
his street, so he stepped out to the sidewalk. He saw Saint Peter
walking alongside his old lawyer from earth, with a throng following.
They continued up the street, and stopped in front of the biggest
house on the block, a three story, fifteen bedroom mansion.
Saint Peter then handed the lawyer the keys.

After the lawyer went into his house, as Saint Peter was retracing
his steps, the priest stepped out and asked him “Pardon me Sir,
but I knew that man back on earth. I mean, he was an okay fellow,
near as I knew, but there are several of us here on this street
who labored long in the field for the Lord, and we’ve all got
smaller houses than he does. What gives?”

Peter replied “Well, you see, we have lots of you priests,
a bunch of bishops, even a few popes up here.
But he’s our very first and only lawyer!”

    ‘Gopy’?

    • Mark Twain said, “I have no
respect for a man who can
only spell a word one way.”

  5. President Elect Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH Neanderthal B Woodman Domestic Violent Extremist SuperStraight

(Panel 6) … “an Army Major”
    Major, yes. But which Army?
I’ve never seen a uniform for the US Army to look like that.
I’ve seen the field uniforms a-plenty in TGW.
(Still very similar to current day US military camo field uniforms)
(form follows function) Looks like something out of Europe
(the hat peak and collar especially)
New Imperial officer’s uniform for the Empire?

    • I suspect she’s from a “friendly” neighbor’s military,
and expect “special” treatment. Her threat to have
the Sargent demoted is an empty threat, as I
expect she thinks she can have a say-so over the
Empire’s rules. And I think she’s about to be schooled
      on that idea…

  6. My wife just found a great joke online on FB:

“A man died, and went to heaven. As he stood
in front of St. Peter at the pearly gates, he saw
a huge wall of clocks behind him.
He asked: “What are those clocks for?”
St. Peters answered: “Those are “lie clocks”,
everyone on Earth has a lie clock. Every time
you lie, the hands on your clock will move.”
“Oh” said the man. “Who’s clock is that?”
St. Peter: “That’s Mother Teresa’s, the hands
have NEVER moved indicating she never told
    a lie.”
“Incredible!” said the man “that’s Abraham
Lincoin’s clock. The hands have only moved
twice, telling us he’s only told 2 lie’s in his
    entire life.”
    “Where is Joe Biden’s clock?”
“His clock is in Jesus office. He’s using it as
    a ceiling fan.”

    HA HA HA!!!

    • Probably any successful politician’s “clock” would be the same.
I wonder if Biden is really cognizant of WHAT he’s saying at
any given moment. I’ve maintained for 3 years that Biden is a
spokes-muppet. The people in charge are the ones with their
hand up his ass. The Democrats convincing him to act as
POTUS is a form of senior abuse.
