Yup, the tail’s tale tells every time.
Ouch that even hurt me.
Politicians with common sense and actually use it.
Who’d a thunk?
They better have a microwave as
nobody has touched their food.
That poor girl, almost like being in solitary confinement,
self-imposed of course. The horrors she seen and survived
will haunt her forever, but if anyone could bring her out
of it, it would be “cat therapy”. She needs to let it go,
that she isn’t in danger and the ones that did it
(hopefully) are either dead or ran away from the area.
Ah, grand-daughter, that explains much. Now, thanks to
Teresa, Kristy is the soul owner of the legacy her and
Seb created, and Seb can continue his plans to retire.
“Debts and responsibilities” is a powerful statement,
but it does take anything Seb needed to take care of
and places it all firmly on Kristy’s shoulders. Teresa
has again, earned my vote for any RL office she’d be
willing to take 🙂

Hey, I don’t blame him. Who wouldn’t want to live on a world,
surrounded by Cats, whom, if they like you, will likely act much
like house cats from Earth. (My cat at home is peeved as I am
currently out of state, and she’s wandering the house looking
for me…)
I can guess, ours has been couped up in our bedroom,
we don’t want her to give birth in my father’s bedroom,
it’s a huge mess and he goes into a panic if I try to
clean it, He’s nearly blind and can’t find anything if it’s
moved. I, for one, can’t wait until it’s over, because I’m
getting pestered by her non-stop, so she’ll be out
and able to roam the house, while I have our door shut
so I can sleep without her climbing on me or her
showing me her butt…
True, and Seb is still healthy enough to make the trip from Catia.
The only nice thing is when you’re retired, time is something you
have too much of (and not enough). That also means that he
could spend a month or two with her before going home. I’m sure
the Romani have things in hand.
If I’m not misreading the situation and her facial expression,
Kristy was looking forward to having her grandpa back and
spending time with him, the only family she has, and now
she’s getting her safety blanket, illusionary or not, taken
away and facing the immediate prospect of ONLY being
able to communicate with him long distance.
Better than him being dead,
but pointing in the same direction,
and it’s out of the blue.
I’d say in both panels 4 and 5 she was missing him quite a bit,
but after he said that he was going to give it all to her it was
surprise and/or shock. She’s going to miss her “papaw,” but I
have little doubt she won’t have time to think about him too much.
Not to mention she’s getting a company (that she set up to start
with) that could easily be worth millions.
PC I meant to compliment you on panel 2 of the previous strip.
Outstanding work! Masterful work! I already figured out that Gopi
had been heavily traumatized just from her body language. From
the character’s size I estimated her to be perhaps 8 or 9 years of
age. But her body language was more like a toddler. You told us
most of Gopi’s story in that single panel. Mega kudos!!
Yeah, Gopi is so traumatized that nothing makes sense to her,
she’s confused about anything and everything. Anything that
gets through that fog will be wondrous or frighting as all hell.
The Cats can act as a comfert animal in her eyes, and that might
be the way to get to her in that fog, to help her get out of it.
Just like they did for Katheryn oh so long ago.
It won’t be long now, Jasmine keeps yowling, we’re finding small wet
spots on the bed and floor, and she keeps climbing to the box I set up.
Plus she’s suffering from abandonment issues when we both leave the
room. I haven’t had to deal with kittens since I was a teen, not sure
what to expect…
The tale of the tails tale… Whoa kay…
And ya GOTTA love simplified Imperial law…

Yeah. Too bad it doesn’t work that way IRL.
So let it be spoken.
So let it be done.
Or, to paraphrase Pickard:
“Make it so, No. 1.”

Just because Seb wants to retire on Catia,
doesn’t mean that he has to leave immediately.
He can stay with Kristy a month…or two….or six.

Well, she’s had one so far, sadly, it was stillborn.
I tried to pick it up and do CPR on it, you can guess
how that panned out…
ow…
