Mayhem, Is that like the smell of
    Napalm in the morning?
Get hit with an artillery shell
would they even find the suit to
    pour you out of?

Kinetic energy + hard suit = EEWW YUK! (vomits)

Have you ever looked up what happens inside a deep diving suit when
the air compressor fails or the air hose bursts?
The pressure inside the suit goes to surface level, the pressure outside stays at
deep ocean pressure. Whoever is inside the suit gets squeezed up through the
air line like toothpaste. A 1/2″ air line.

Yeah I read and seen it, got nosy after that failed sub trip.
At least that happened too fast for the unfortunate to be
aware of it. The worst one, I can’t remember all the details,
but it was some idiot in a decompression vault, the door
wasn’t sealed right and every one inside was squirted into
the next room. There was even a low-poly animation of it.

That’s why the have check valves on the helmets of surface supported deep diving suits.
In the past, if the compressor providing air to the diver’s helmet quit, well, not to be too gross,
but, there wouldn’t be much of anything in the diving suit, but you’d be burying maybe the
helmet, but definitely the air hose.
That is why, nowdays, deep diving suits usually have a ‘supplementary air tank’ that the diver
can switch to should the compressor die, or air line get cut.
It doesn’t last long, but usually long enough to get to safety, usually to a diver’s bell.

If it’s that bad, just point it towards the local sun,
and let gravity pull it in. POOF! No garbage to clutter
the local space lanes or planetary orbits.

But the Disruptors’ technology is better than the rest of the Council’s.
The Empire wants to know how much better, and can they duplicate it.

I agree, I’m no advanced tech guy, but even the nuts and bolts have a place
in the gift basket these fools just brought the Empire! And maybe some ideas
on heat management for the ‘droids too.

Ursa mk VI… hard suit that can go toe to toe with a bear
      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troy_Hurtubise
later died in a multiple car crash / fire…
he was the only one to die, burnt beyond recognition…
edit: suit gets hit by multi highspeed object,
      user is fine.

HA! I knew Mavia would have fun with this situation. Minka will too.
Pees in a pod those two. I love how excited Becky got at the job
offer, Pity she’s not real, I know a son of mine that would hit it off
    big time with that gal!

Deathstar sized? Hmm… They might be really big but “that’s no moon!”
I kinda doubt. Maybe Beno sized. The Disruptors must think they can
just build bigger and not even consider what real tactics is like. Good,
once the navy strips what’s left, maybe those clowns will learn something.

Weren’t they called Battle Spheres in Weber’s Dahak books?
Seems appropriate for something bigger than a Dreadnaught and spherical…

Bennu is 1600 feet across, that’s way bigger than the Enterprise D.
        https://science.nasa.gov/solar-system/asteroids/101955-bennu/facts/
I’d say that would make an impressive super-dreadnaught. Still, a
concrete-filled destroyer moving at 60,000+ mph would make it a ragged
        donut floating away.

Ok, yeah, definitely time to re-read it. Been decades,
I read that while in high school, rather after school,
            hanging out at the library.

I kinda figured Becky was a “weeb” by her hairstyle
and glasses, at least she’s not wearing the “owl eyes”
style of glasses. Those were common in many of the
    anime that my son watched.

I just had a long conversation on the phone,
they are going to set me up with a grief counselor,
    for me,
I guess I failed the depression part of the test.

They put me on an antidepressant, oh joy…
I just hope it works as advertised rather than
making it worse. The test they gave me, the
      limit was 10, I scored a depressing 24.

I wish you could drive to Southeast Georgia. I haven’t used my UV printer
except for a few test prints right after I bought it.
