Panel 4, in light of panel 1 – Janice, you just called Kathy
a liar. Not a smart move.

    Panel 8 – Wait, what?

Kathy also said, she handles the books..
so she could make look that way.!
which is why i sed “make a nay sayer try it”… or like,
make a CEO live a month on the lowest company wage…

Janice is a journalist, and does have to ask.
Who would believe unless they knew the people involved.
I guess seeing is believing, but is it every day or a show.

It think the Admiral just figured out the initials.
    Oops or laugh?

Agree with you, Paul. A journalist is supposed to be skeptical.
And “We’re not really rich because we live poor” doesn’t really
      wash with the real poor.
Teresa or Minka being richer than Croesus isn’t really the
point of the discussion. But not sure one can hide from
      that fact.

        October 19, 2025, 03:48 | # | Reply

No one is claiming that the two are not tremendously wealthy.
Kathy and Harold are only saying that you can’t tell just by
        looking at how they live.
Minka and Teresa use their wealth and power for the benefit
of the people for whom they are responsible.
For Minka, it’s her employees. For Teresa, it’s every citizen.

Even if I had one billion dollars, I’d still wear t-shirts and genes,
(Yes, good genes 😛 ) drive a normal car, use comfertable furniture,
eat everyday food, and not change anything other than buy new
when needed. Oh and have a computer/printer room that would
        make Bill Gates jealous 😀

ok,, poor little rich girl – , both Minka an Teresa make a offer.!
to any ‘nay sayers’, you get a 1,000 gold coin, to spend. BUT.!
you have to stay / spend it with us. and only like we do.
one day from sun up to bed time.! IF you don’t , you owe a
public apology, and in frivolous spending, the money back…

My son was non-stop talking about what he wanted to buy if he won the lottery.
I looked at him and said “if you did, don’t put it in a bank account and leave it,
Invest most of it and put a decent amount in a savings account that makes
monthly transfers to a checking account for your monthly costs, no splurge
buying or random spending, it’ll be gone before you know it. Sure, buy a house,
a decent car, a new Harley, but then just live day-by-day, with his health, the
jet-set life… he wouldn’t live long. I told him $10-15k a month is plenty to live
      on.

Regarding winning the lottery, most of 30 years ago the big one was approaching $180M,
a previously unheard of amount. One of the local newsies called our firm and asked for an
interview with a “professional money manager”, news speak for one of our CPAs.
There were two of us there that day, and even though I wasn’t a CPA, I got voluntold to do
the interview, as I was “properly attired” in a white shirt, tie and suspenders.
I ran the numbers, and I still stand by the advice I gave then. Take the 50% cash offer,
pay the taxes and invest the remainder in your state’s municipal bonds. 50% of $180M was
$90M, and the taxes thereon (back then) were roughly $43.7M. So, $46.3M invested in tax-
exempt municipal bonds that paid only 3% would yield $1,389,000 per year.
Yeah, really no need to spend some to buy a car and a house and invest the rest.
Just buy practical versions of those things from the interest earnings alone,
and never touch the principal. things with the interest

Hmm. Weird. I apparently changed a thought and backed up and
forgot to get rid of the previous portion. Oh, well. I are old(er), and
          easily distracted.

That’s what I explained to him, With his treatments and careful managing,
he could live well for 40-50 years on just the interest alone. The so called
“curse” on winners is that they go nuts, spend most of it without
considering things like property tax. Like M.C. Hammer, hit it big with a
single, then lost it all because he didn’t pay his taxes.

Right now, Power-ball has a pot of $304 mil, the cash out is 144.6 mil,
but after state and fed taxes he’d only get $105.2 mil. That doesn’t
include local and county taxes. I told him to plan on a new bank, a tax
attorney, and a CPA. The up-side is he wants us to live with him until
he learns how to monitor everything. Or until my mind goes…

(Face-palm) Janice, Janice, Janice… I think that is the single most stupid
thing you’ve ever said or done. Clearly you haven’t looked into this, or
talked to anyone that knows the score. But sure, keep digging that grave,
I’m sure someone will have a good laugh.

That’s pretty light losses to what I was expecting. The events on the ship
we seen couldn’t have happened every time. Nothing is ever cut-n-dried
like that. “Wait… Repeat that. Slowly.” Yes, my dear Grand Admiral, that’s
where was said. Now who is going to be the one to make the manuel for
it? Much less why it’s called a P.E.N.I.S. Or at least until they see the
    picture of the craft…

Apparently I ‘worship’ and am ‘controlled by’ Trump. FACTS and CHARTS
‘can be manufactured’ AKA CONSPIRACY THEORY.
His FB feed is PACKED with people shrieking hatred and Lies about Trump.
And he’s said ‘something is coming no one is prepared for.’

But I also included Real, Factual, Easily Verifiable Information,
      as I always have.
I very much doubt I was blocked because of swearing at the

Sometimes you have to cut your losses.
Walk away, and don’t look back. Is it worth the stress of losing your health
(mental and physical)? You can grieve over the loss of your friend,
but it was his choice to enter the Liberal Echo Chamber.

I swear… Sad thing was this kind of crap was happening prior to the civil war,
people felt so strongly about all the issues that entire families were torn apart.
It wasn’t just about slavery, there was a slue of issues, including the farming,
that they were griping about. Sound familiar?

They demonized him for 12 years, tried every single dirty trick in the book,
programmed every single cult member to hate him with the fiery passion
of hell, and sadly, all of these poor people are so brain-washed that few will
ever truly wake up. Luckily they are few, if not well placed, and sooner or
later they will self-destruct. As we keep seeing on the media.

A significant portion of TDS is reflected in the new phenomenon of
EDS — Elon Derangement syndrome. It is the old fact of excessive
love turning into hate. If you’re not acquainted with the Bible, look
up “the rape of Tamar.” The salient lines: “the hatred wherewith he
hated her was greater than the love wherewith he had loved her.”
          I have said repeatedly I don’t personally like Trump. I didn’t like
him when he was a Democrat, and a darling of the left. The left now
vehemently denies they ever loved him, but the public facts, the
accolades, the awards, are all public record. I don’t like him now,
personally, but I think that he has been, generally, good for the
country. The same goes for Elon. Have you seen the Tesla bumper
stickers that say, “I bought this before Elon lost his mind?” Again,
love turned to hate. (And just in passing, if you’ve ever seen
a Cybertruck, you know that Elon lost his mind long before DOGE.)

That happens to many people, Take Michael Jackson, he was an eccentric,
talented man, that the tabloids LOVED to twist and turn every little thing
into something perverse. Then the main media joined it, suddenly everyone
hated him, and that drove him mad. I don’t know if he truly was gay or a
pedo, but the entire thing went away far too easily after he paid them off,
if it was one of my kids, I wouldn’t have let it go like that.

Elon is another, current example, for the very same reasons. The cybertruck
was intended to be used on Mars, who knows who did it, but they convinced
Musk that it would be popular. On Mars, a dry planet, it was perfect, on
Earth, it sux. The charge would have lasted half again as long, and you
didn’t have to set it on wash mode if it rained hard or flooded. The shape
was designed so the dust wouldn’t collect in places.
On Earth it would be a sloppy mess during spring rains.

I’m confused. You wrote “Cat-Man, My good friend, writing mentor
and Best Man at my wedding, recently blocked me.” Are you saying:
Cat-Man, as in our host here at TGW, or someone else? And, if our
host, are you addressing him, and then going on to tell us what your
best man (someone else) did? Or, and this is how I initially read it,
are you saying that our host was your best man and has recently
      blocked you on FB?

One third of the marines caught in the self-destruct of a ship survived?
That’s some very impressive armored suits they have there.
In Science Fiction people often just look at the spaceships, but the impact
