Something screwy is going on at TopWebComics.
Two Kinds and The Gentle Wolf have been swapping places for
many months. Always within a hundred or so of each other.
Today at noon it was at 3000 votes. Now it’s at 5400. In eight
hours, it gained almost as many votes as it did in the previous
eighteen days. Now it’s at #1.
I am skeptical.
Maybe it could help to look at the facts:
– Every time, tom Fischbach (creator of Two Kinds) draw a new TWC vote
incentive, the score of his comic went up in the sky.
– The last vote incentive was from March 2022.
– On January 1th 2023 there was a new one and the score …
So, there’s no effect for eighteen days,
just the usual 200 or so votes a day, only to jump 2400 votes in
eight hours? What’s so special about that eight hour block?
Personally, I’m happy – and shocked – that TGW is in the top 10,
I just want to know that the playing field is level, that’s all.
There is also the possibility that the fans are logging onto multiple devices.
While I have three I can use, I only vote once and I don’t know if this has been fixed to make it account specific.
The playing field isn’t level. And it hasn’t been since TWC introduced
paid ‘advertising’. In that the advertising is ‘votes’ that shoots them
up the ranks. Some trash pron comics that regularly live in the 2-300s
(where they deserve to be, and they might be high, they’re real shit)
occasionally shoot into the top ten when he buys votes.
While TwoKinds has been utter shite for updates this last year, barely
managing once a month, he did drop two updates close together, one of
them yesterday. So a bunch of ppl probably finally checked in and found
out he bothered to update since last early December. (I barely bother to
check it every two weeks, or so, since he’s become so erratic with
updates) Been reading it since the start. While his quality has
massively improved, his pace has dropped. A lot. I read a comic put out
by someone with MS, and she puts out updates more reliably than he does.
While also going to art school and dealing with MS symptoms. So they
probs just had a reason to vote again after over a month of nothing.
Might be MD, I always mix those two up. It’s whatever one Canadians are
more likely to develop, along with other northern ppls who seem to also
have it happen more often than avg.
There’s a major artery just under the arm pit that’s a sure
bleed out in a minute if cut, also a great way to disable an
arm in a fight, a few jabs to that spot, dead arm…
Pins and needles for a few hours as well. It’s also when I
learned to never ask my Sensei to demonstrate…

several locations is sufficient to kill a human.
So how close to human physiology is Slinom?
Of course it may be difficult to get close enough to use such a small blade,
but with both having 4inch (100mm) blades it comes down to the
skill and luck of the two contestants.
They don’t use 4″ blades – they use 4cm blades.
And I’m gonna guess that Taritha is gonna be a lot quicker than Slinom.
She’ll probably be able to hit him at will, and block
most if not all of his attacks. Assuming he doesn’t
run from the fight.
Maybe a simple Cease and desist request? Get out of the way
maybe? If they are going to hit the government building clearing
the streets would be a very good idea.
And not Taritha is playing the same roll as Chardis, a vicious, easily
angered predictor, Forcing another core member to fear them!
All the core’s issue is they want control and The Empire is taking
that away, sorry for their loss… no not really! heh…

virtually guarantees the government building will be targeted.
And in panel eight Taritha would have said “face up or shut up”.
Instead she graphically describes how he will die, indicating she
is confident she can easily take him down.
Naturally the next move is for the queen to veto the fight while
giving the impression she is barely able to control Taritha’s anger.
just so you know.. i just found out my mother
was diagnosed stage 4 cancer,, (she is 80.)
so,, i am NOT in a happy place..
in the next few days / week , i will be going to
her home (half a country away)..
but i will at least let PC know when…

cats, and their claws. I’m recovering from one such claw scratch from an over enthusiastic

Was going to say the same thing. I would not want to get into a knife fight with
what essentially amounts to box cutters. Plus, we know Cats’ skins are very tough.
A cut from a 1 1/2″ blade might not be more than a scratch. We know nothing
about Hammerheads’ outer integument. I remember the carnage (Chirk? Wildcat?)
was able to wreak with something the size of a paring knife.

True, but this is a “scared straight” action, I doubt that
Slinom will accept the challenge. More like run screaming

are, but the core wants to believe they are just another

and can only vote once. But I can vote from my home network (laptop or phone not
both), and can, if I choose, vote from each new WiFi network my phone connects with.
I hate to say it but you might want to sign up with
other voting services and i agree I followed two
kinds for years and it’s been very bad for updates
in the last few years so it doesn’t make sense they
would be pulling so many votes so often, I stopped
voting for them because of the shaky updates. I
think it’s winding down because the story is coming
to the end.
Nah, TWC is enough. I just use it to see how TGW is doing generally.
If I really cared about popularity there’d be a lot more sex and nudity
in it. One benefit is that I am free to include anything when the story
requires it, and to omit anything not required by the story.
I certainly am, but I came here initially because of the wisdom PC
imparted through what one character stated. It so resonated
with how things ought to be in the real world.
Same here, I ran across this comic in TWC because I wanted
something new and not overly sexualized in the 3DCG genre.
Like Merceneiress, it has a decent story, but there’s just too
much nudity and sexual comments to distract from the story.

On my screen, at 5:41 pm, west coast time, Twokinds is at #1 with 5482, and TGW is at #8, with 3068.
Oops. My bad. I thought you meant TGW was at #1 (it should be, imnsho).
As long as TGW is in the top 10, it gets the most views.
I don’t think higher makes much difference.
At noon Eastern time, TGW was at 2980, #8 and Twokinds was at 3006, #7.

There’s just one thing I learned during this … that I feel

Yeah from what I understand people see 3DCG they
think sexy pics. Porn is nice and all, but I like a good
