We have a firm count. Eight Core Worlds plus a still-indefinite number
of Fringe Worlds, and then the Human worlds, Catia, Terra, and wherever
the Dragons live. Are humans the only species that occupy more than
one world, which they do before counting Terra and Catia?
If the counsel is based on races and not worlds like the United Nations
and the various members then each race would only have an ambassador
and their staff. It’s been hinted the core worlds are in many systems,
any race that can space travel would find new places to occupy. And
the races that kept the tech to travel the portals would have the most,
some may have lost the tech after the move like the trolls(?).
There are at least five Fringe species (so they, the Humans and the
Ptera could tie the other Core worlds). I’m pretty sure we’ve met
more than five. But the number over five has to be an even number,
split evenly on the vote, unless there were abstentions. Let’s hope
this isn’t going to be a Night of the Long Knives. Or a Kristallnacht.
Looking back when they were visiting the different ambassadors I noticed the rats, frogs, a lizard with a long mouth,
the spider, the tentacle guy, the bird folk, trolls, fish folk, some bat-eared (not the shitbats) people, and dragons
just to name off the top of my head. The 7 core worlds left since the P’tera are on the Catians side. Since the trolls
are not space-faring (yet) I doubt they would have a say. I’m sure PC has other races we’ve yet to meet and there
was no info on how many votes total were cast. Some are no doubt still scared of the core worlds so they might vote
in their favor just to be safe. The Empire will have to show their strength at some point to win over the hold-outs
I’m afraid. If it does come to a vote I’m afraid it’ll be a close one like it was when the cats were voted in if
not a lose. Only PC knows for sure 😉
I should say that the Humans were included with the core worlds so
that’s two races that are supporting the Empire and have interest
in joining the Empire. Also they are among the strongest of the
core fleets. Things are going to get VERY interesting very
quickly if the Shitbats & company try to start a war!
I think Palas will help with that status. Catians do seem to be the peacemakers between
different people, and aren’t afraid to use umm.. interesting tactics when pushed.
To be honest if Teresa was to run for president, she’d have my vote LOL. I see nothing but
a bright future for the Empire! I hope when she retires (perhaps on Catia?) she can feel
nothing but satisfaction at the vastness of the Empire she’s helped to build and the huge
respect she’s earned over the years.

Sounds a bit like a coup from here.
Will the P’tera strive for a bloodless as possible?
Maintaining their neutrality but still slapping
down anyone breaking the peace of Xanadu.
It’s a tricky thing putting the core group on notice might not work,
but beating the crap out all 7 embassies isn’t any different than
what they were trying to do. But then again with those “smiles”
and their physic any normal living thing would have the
“fight or flight” triggered, making that “stick” is the trick.
All they have to do is restrict them to their
embassies and only let someone out with an escort.
That alone is stifling the work of an embassy.
Especially if they want to have clandestine meetings.
Stuff like that is enough.

It will be a vote incentive soon.
Hope you all never get tired of ladies wearing camo.
7? Consider me surprised. I thought maybe 1 or 2 aside
from the Shitbats, but 7? That’s much more than I guessed.
And let’s remember, the ‘trading mission’ the Shitbats
sent to Caitia has not returned yet. When they do,
the shit will really hit the fan.#
Well, that and all the other bad news that are on the way.
The more news trickle in to more clear will the picture become.
Meanwhile the lines are drawn on Xanadu.
If I remember right that was when the P’tera talked
to the Catains and left behind the ambassador.
Unless they are hiding in shame it might be they
haven’t returned yet. Either way it might give the
core group a reason to rethink things.
My guess is they’ll panic. After all, even with what they saw at Catia,
it’s just one system. From their perspective they’ll take Catia and then
whip the rest of the Fringe Worlds in line.
With Earth and the full industrial capabilities of the Empire unknown to
the Core Worlds, they will underestimate the Empire.
And remember, they already felt one missing delivery from one Fringe
World. Their entire economy depends on the exploitation of the Fringe
Worlds.
Again just my guess, even if they knew the full capabilities of the
Empire, they would still go to war.
But we will see.
The Catians have a firm grip in the fringe and with the support of the P’tera are
gaining a good foothold on Xanadu, so I expect they will try to attack Catia at
least once to see if they can put a stop to them. Which will end badly for them
I’m sure the Catians are expecting it and have laid plans to handle it. The FTL
situation hasn’t been addressed fully as yet too.
I should say “end badly for the core” with the grav drives and stealth systems
the core ships won’t know where the shots are coming from. Even without missiles
The Empire’s fleets have the grav-guns that could rip chucks out of the core ships
drives/hulls before they even knew where they are.
A done deal.
The feces is about to hit the rotating thingy.
You just gave me the image of someone shoving a fan in the face
of the Shitbat ambassador just as she was “releasing her waste” LOL
Kind of curious as to just what they have planned.
Should be verrrry interesting.
Soon as I read that, the thought
of “BATTER UP!” came to mind lol.

The 7 Core worlds are not on the Catians’ side,
the Ptera are technically neutral. More later.
I know I was saying they are the the one’s against the cats
I can’t believe I forgot the Dogs lol

The Humans were considered Fringers,
as they had little influence with the rest of the worlds.
I misunderstood then, not the first time lol.
No sweat, it’s not really clear.
Humans aren’t Core and they’re not Fringe,
the best word, I guess, would be outcast.

“….stay inside until morning.”
I’m thinking “The Purge” meets Godfather
“finishing family business”.
Just so long as no one wakes up with a (insert races’
equivalent of a horse)’s head in their bed LOL.

Not anytime soon lol
I just found out that lol does not mean, lots of liquor.
Learn something new everyday.
And when you text a woman an invite to dinner and
she replies “LOL” it doesn’t mean “Lots of Love”,
either. Although lots of liquor might help.
I know I use it a lot spent too much time chatting
years ago got to break some old habits 😛
