Don’t know about splints or crutches but my money is on pain meds –
lots of pain meds. This a new species. I don’t think we’ve seen them
before. Also I don’t think we’ve seen Cats flat out picking fights
before. Hope the bar owner’s well insured. Things could get messy.
They remind me a little of my sisters bearded lizard minus the “beards” maybe closer to iguanas
without the crest not sure but I’d say they aren’t warm-blooded so they might not up to handling
a couple of fast cats LOL and yes lots of pain meds and a day or 3 in bed. I’m sure the cats were more
than willing to cover the damages since they did start it but I wonder if this wasn’t part of the
“meet and greet” plans (Yes, plans within plans).
I’m beginning to get the idea of Tenshi’s background a bit more so yes orphaned/abandoned and trying to
support her kid sister etc… I did get the impression she’s a survivor and could handle herself which also
explains why King Garon was willing to risk exposing her to those videos. And Carl does seem to make a good
father figure (plans…. lol)
The reptile looking guys aren’t necessarily cold blooded. Supposedly
the dinosaurs were warm blooded. From what I have read, high
intelligence pretty much mandates an organism be warm blooded. Also,
even if they are cold blooded, crocks and gators can move damned fast
when they want/need to. Two-to-one odds might be a case of the Cats
biting off more than they can chew.
There’s also the fact that it turns out that many of, at least, the therapods,
were feathered. Which, assuming that they were hollow boned like birds,
could have been quite a bit faster than we’d assumed, as well as possibly
allowing them to regulate their body temperatures far better than we suspected.
What is up with Ronnie? It looks like he is wearing football shoulder
pads. And does he have a hauberk on under that tunic? I have never worn
armor but I have read that chainmail is very hot with the padding which
is worn under it. I would suspect also that it is heavy. what gives?
yes to all.. shoulder pads = spaulder,. pauldrons come later and cover more.
hauberk = mail shirt (mail = chain. so chainmail = chainchain..) 🙂
tunic = shirt, tabard = sleeve less surcoat (heraldry) worn over armor..
gambeson = padded or multilayered cloth under armor.. some times over.
my hauberk and gambeson weigh 40lbs, typical armor kit weighs about 100lbs.

using the proper term for that type of armor. If you look the word up
online you will find it all over – even on sites related to armor. I
am no enactor, but my understanding was/is that the term “mail” refers
to a class of armor as opposed to plate armor or laminar armor. I’m
fairly certain that the term “mail” includes chain type and scale type
armor with the latter being multiple small plates sewn or riveted onto

thus showing the visitors it is not a good idea for them to try capturing Wolf Empire star ships.
With the added benefit of delaying the visitors departure by putting some of them in hospital.

hence why she would not break. she keeps the scars to prove that

Catians have a huge advantage with their denser bodies and enhanced speed and agility they would make excellent
martial artists and assassins their biggest downside is they run out of energy and overheat quickly so gorilla warfare
is their special niche in life. I for one would hate to see a squad of them fully trained attacking a forward base they’d
make short work of them and hardly leave a trace. Coupled with their enhanced senses and their natural hunting skills
no one is escaping their grasp
