Homicidal?! As cool and collected an Matt Costman is it would take
a whole lot to make him that upset. Too bad those guys don’t know
the size of the bullet they dodged. Would NOT want to get on his
bad side!
Homicidal?! That I can understand. And it is justified.
Me? I’d most likely be marching through the door waving a machete,
a lit torch, with a 1911 tucked in my belt.
But to have SHARON holding him back?! That is unprecedented.
It ought to have been in reverse.
“Bad cop, worse cop”. That should prove interesting to observe.
I’m just glad they’re not practicing on me (shudder).

(but what is NOT being discussed, so far, is the fuel, maintenance
and parts, of which, AFAIK, the Doggies have little to none)
fuel,, they had their own ships, as to maintenance , see , had own ships..
parts,, parts will be a little trickier,, tho they probably will get them
under the “fair trade” plan…
The pups will have two fully equipped equipped replenishment and
supply ships. That is a start to a system defense, being frugal with
usage.
They should come around in time. I doubt the former users would want
to take them back considering the unknown force that declared them
forfeit might not agree.
The dogs need to adapt to the new non-kicked reality. Slavery has
many forms. Freedom and responsibility has to be relearned.
Costman has more than enough reasons to be homicidal. Sharon knows
homicidal, and when such actions should and should not be done.
Sanity is a good description of what he needed.

away if the other species is not as open-minded to outsiders. I see

Depends on how badly you need the horse. Contrary to what you might think, the more
you need the horse, and more importantly the more the giver KNOWS you need the horse,
