Sorry that I haven’t been responding to emails or anything else. I’ll try to catch up.
I hope that I’ve got your New Year off right, and made the internet a little less toxic with the new vote incentive.

That’s an incentive I could get behind! Or in front of, or beside or….
      I’ll be in my bunk.

Well it Has been the Holidays.

And because I sent the story out to you and the others right at the start of the Holidays, I’ve been content to wait. But I Am starting to wonder if I should be asking questions of you all.

Well, ain’t this a fine surprise… Wonder who actually applied for him?

And why am I getting a “Tenchi Mayo GXP” vibe from this?

I don’t know… Rendel’s luck seems to be pretty good to me!

And check out the grin on Mala’s face. She gets to keep her toy!

Charles, I suspect he did himself, from panel 7. In which case Mom knew about it. Otherwise, Mom but he knew about it. Either way explains the look in panel 8 of #724. Nice bit of misdirection there, PC. We were SUPPOSED to think this was another application for a mail-order husband. And not even a “The Cat sayeth nothing” to clue me in I was off the mark. Well played.
And the vote incentive is beautiful.

You’re going to hate me for this:
      The Cat sayeth nothing.

Actually, I burst out laughing. Thank you. I needed that this morning.

Yes, he made the application. Otherwise he couldn’t have forgotten about it.

What if? A Locust with more conventional propulsion/lift arrangements. Grav motor powered, of course.

    Comments? Gripes, bitches and complaints?
(All credit to the original creator. No WAY I could even imagine such a thing as the model I hacked to do this. That guy definitely knows what he’s doing.)

The Locust reminds me of the choppers from the movie “Avatar,”
only without the pivoting blade rings. I pity any flock of
birds that flew into it, a flying food processor!
Any standard Locust would just “PA-tuuoooie” them out.
