Truer words were never spoken than in frame four. Love frame eight.

I figure you guys can use a chuckle: Headline from the Babylon Bee: “Septic Trucks Arrive In Washington To Begin Refilling The Swamp”
    This was the accompanying graphic:

    P.C. –
    A question:
    Do you see Navy Captain Miral as an O-6, as in our US Navy;
or an O-3 as in our US Army/USMC/USAF?.

And adding my AMEN to Miral’s assessment.

    thnx, ned

I wish I had started with equivalent ranks across the board, but… Miral is an O-3. Next is Commander, O-4, which is what Spike was promoted to (acting) when
he agreed to teach the Dragonflies. I haven’t figured out the rest yet.

Yeah – you may be a little boxed in regarding Victor as Navy Captain and his sister, Mistrial. as Admiral – or do I misread Victor’s rank?
Maybe if you appealed to the Emperor for a clarification of Service Ranks . . . . 😀

I could tell you a story about my late night landing into New Orleans Naval Air Station, after dodging out of a T-storm in a U-6A De Haviland Beaver.
The Compassionate USN E-8 had pity on a very tired Army “Captains Moore and Walker” and we got to RON in a Flag-Rank VOQ . . . . Nice digs! 😀

Now that I think about it – why would these folks need so many levels of ranks –
The US Army, et al, has 10 Officer, 5 Warrant Officer and 9 Enlisted ranks.
Suggestion – does your schema really need that many? Of each.
Yup – seems silly. Well maybe just one more past Commander.

PC, I need a couple of figures to build stuff around to get scale and proportion right. Obj files import just fine. If I’m going to build aircraft-type things I need two different but very similar pilot figures wearing flight jumpsuit, helmet and boots. Both need to have their feet on rudder pedals, knees slightly bent and left hand gripping a throttle (with “T” handle). One of them needs to have their right hand posed as if gripping a center stick and the other needs their right hand posed as if gripping a side stick. I’d like to have the option either way. For vehicles (you mentioned the marines in your last email) I need a guy posed as if sitting at the controls of a typical vehicle. The only alternative to you sending me a suitable 3D object is me having to ramp up on Daz Studio. Got enough on my plate learning Anim8or without having to learn Daz Studio fundamentals just to generate a couple of 3D figures to use as models around which to build vehicles etc. Sorry to be so needy.

Marcus Luttrell is a Navy Seal who was given a service dog to help him recover after he was wounded.
    His beloved Daisy.
    Then three punks shot Daisy.

Haters gotta hate and liars gotta lie. Ilhan Omar is both. Between being a mud-slime and a DemonKKKRat nothing she says can be taken without a 100lb bag of salt.

Of course, you all have noticed the uncanny resemblance between Minka Imogen and Jeyta BuShear.
So has Major Kyle O’Niel, Jeyta’s boyfriend.

Methinks Major Kyle is imagining being between the two of them.
      I know I would be…

I am learning to 3D model using a nice free modeller called Anim8or. Ultimately, my goal is to be able to make vehicles, props and even buildings (exteriors and interior sets) for use here. The damned things are hideously expensive to buy online and I find myself pretty much home bound with shedloads of time on my hands.

PC mentioned wanting some portable buildings for the Imperial Marines to use as Field Hospitals and workshops. Here is a link to the beginnings of such building. Please read the caption. Also, remember that this is just a very early visual prototype and that I am still learning how to model using Anim8or. Keep in mind also the old saw about old dogs and new tricks. It IS possible for an old dog to learn new tricks but it takes a WHOLE lot more time, effort and patience. Add in my non-verbal learning disability and sometimes it gets interesting.
Here is a link to a quick screen shot of the WIP.

In the first two panels of TGW-327, you can see a little of how the cargo modules are removable from the Locust transports. Sort of like a Skycrane.

Here is a 2nd pass at an inflatable building. I’ll look at 327 to see what you’re getting at. Remember, this is very preliminary. I’m still figuring it out as I go along.

Bill – look at Vango airbeam tents for inspiration for inflatable tentage. They have a good range and their website has plenty of pictures to give you a feel for details. The wife and I bought a 6 person Vango Airbeam in 2018, and we’re very pleased with it. It stood firm through several weekends of typical English weather without any issues. Needless to say we’ve been quite disappointed at not being able to use it this year.

I know I am late to the comments, but thank you for the top comic in the restaurant. Our Republic would be in a much better place if the importance of Responsibility and
Duty were taught along with Rights in our homes, churches and schools.
