Gary, as the Catman will attest, saluting is ALWAYS done with the right hand (unless that arm is missing) just as is shaking hands.
If Kelly was a southpaw he should have little trouble adjusting. Most of us southpaws are naturally fairly ambidextrous. We have to be seeing as the world is set up to favor you wronghanded folks.

Surprised Belle came to school naked (no side arm). Hm. Maybe the concealed she’s probably packing feels like enough and she’s at ease. Can’t see her left hand well enough to be sure whether she’s wearing the rest of her gear.
It would be amusing if it were eventually revealed that getting her the stage three kit was part of Walker’s motivation in letting her be recruited — to get her to STOP wearing the big visible side arm.

Regardless of age or gender, I assume, but not of circumstance. Camping in the woods is likely a whole ‘nother animal. His daughters had a jeep-mounted machine gun, for instance. And I wouldn’t even guess as to the percentage of citizens who carry concealed, or like Sharon or Kathy are themselves weapons.

Looking at all of the the renderings for the various Catians, there isn’t a hand type available for it, hence seeing painted human style nails.

Now for Kelly; if the new arm has the retractable claws, how will they hook the nerve endings to control the necessary muscles that operate those claws?
