At that age, lust is the true feeling behind a crush, only over
time can it be something more. I’ve been there, you think
you’re madly in love, but after a few dates you ask yourself
“what did I see in (enter name)” Simple, you weren’t looking
at their heart.
In my case, I figure it’s better to be friends first, not really dating, but doing things together
with mutual friends. In this case, you’re more likely to both show your true self and see your
potential girl friend’s true self as well. If you start dating before you get to know someone,
you aren’t likely to show who you really are, nor learn whom your potential significant other
is either. Things become interesting when there are more than one potential significant
other in said group of mutual friends. Found THIS out a few times by accident.

Not necessarily a bad thing. More experience,
knowledge, wisdom. And if they’re close
enough in age, with mutual attraction (lust),

Human females at the crucial age 13-15 years are usually way higher than males the same age.
The difference reverses in next few years though.
I remember when I was 13-14 I had a classmate girl who was full head higher than me.

In humans, males are trained to control their emotions
at an early age, so when we get too many at once, our
brains get locked up, like a computer trying to run too
many programs at once. Girls are taught to express
emotion, so they are able to process them better at an
early age.
Heh, age is just a number, my wife was 5 years younger
than me, my sister was 2 years old than her husband.
They both have feelings, it’s on him to decide if it’s lust
or love. At their current age, it’s very hard to tell the
difference. Like with my wife, her looks got me interested,
but the months of writing each other showed me her heart.
Here’s a thought, if there are 2 large continents, and only
one was developed, what was so special about the developed
one? We have a clue! heh. Seems to me that something that
causes such devotion in the population to a leader is on the
populated one, and once the PTB figured it out, they refused
to allow the other continent to be developed. That would
explain why those on the station acted differently. It requires
constant exposure to work well. I’m betting on a plant-based
item, like cat-nip.
Continent A, it grows naturally, Continent B, the weather
is bad for it so it can’t survive. The station/ships recycles
air, so it’s filtered out. Pity the Imperial navy doesn’t have
transporters, it’s make it an easy fix.
There’s too many contaminants that could get by
the filtration system if they did that, many diseases
are carried in water alone. Even aerosols could be
a vector. There’s a deadly disease caused by inhaling
the dust from decomposed bodies, that’s where the
“Mummy’s curse” idea came from. Those early
archeologists just HAD to be there was they opened
a new room or sarcophagus in the pyramids.
Besides, it could still work if the plants were in the
corridors and the bunk rooms, we didn’t see any.
They could add it to the filtration system, like a
hydration system. Don’t want the air too dry on the
station!! Heh. Or like cat-nip, eating it is even more
effective, I watched my father’s old cat Jax rip apart
a cat-nip mouse just to eat the nip. Funny thing?
Jasmine hates it, she gets that eye-blink face and
won’t go near it.

honestly think if the advertising people were to
devote even 10% to cancer research, we’d all be
cured by the end of the decade…

General health update, in case anyone is interested…
Had a biopsy done on a significant lump on my neck.
Pappilary Thyroid cancer… Again.
Turns out at least one of my lymph nodes got infected, (however THAT works) after they removed my Thyroid.
They will be doing a PET scan tomorrow, annultrasound of my Liver next week, and a CAT Scan the next day.
After they get a better idea of what is going on, they’ll schedule treatment, likely including surgery and radiation or chemo treatment.
Oh, what fun.
