That’s the way it should be for teachers.
Too late you’re already toast and don’t know it.
If you sell your rooster and buy a duck,
you get up at the quack of dawn.
Oops I quacked another one didn’t I?
HA! yeah ya did 🙂 FYI, if you’re raising both birds, ducks
are not only well endowed, but are like cork screws, and
they don’t care what they use it on. We had several chickens
die and couldn’t figure it out at first, until we caught the
drake red-handed.. So to speak. So no more free-ranged
ducks outside their enclosure.
Marshall did what I might have in PC’s universe, teach shop. Good!
most of the shop teachers I had were book-worms not “get dirty” types.
My Metal shop teacher seemed to think a lab coat seem to work…
He would get mad if he got cutting oil on it… (grumbling)
Cover-alls not a lab coat, ah well…
And now we have a demon, sadly not the huge horned one I was thinking
of but beggars… These clowns might be s serious issue, but like the other
core types, are too cock-sure of themselves. The Empire is playing Stratigo
and these guys wanna play poker…
I should add there’s no talk about attacking,
just a “friendly” visit maybe? Feeling out the
defenses? “Just in case?” Big Red might be l
ike the Trolls, scary to look at, but big teddy
bears? But grizzly sized.
I wonder how it is these guys knew where Terra was, so unless they
are messengers from the gods or was contacted by the dragons…
That’s worrisome. The remains of the core is pretty much toothless,
but still. It was bound to happen sooner or later I guess.
Elf lady, as skinny as you are, don’t walk behind “big-n-red” if he’s
been eating chili… just sayin’. Or me after eating banana’s heh.
As skinny as she is, we see her cry out while being spread-eagle
and pinned to the wall! And gagging from the smell.
(It got in my mouth! I can taste it!)
Her planet is on the far edge (The frontier) of Galactic civilization. One FTL jump
away from Terra. When the Demons attacked her planet, they also sent scouts
to surrounding, unexplored systems. Covering their back door, so to speak.
That’s how they found Terra.
They’re operating under the assumption that any inhabited system not already
a part of the Galactic Council is too primitive to defend itself.
The Council’s problem is not that they weren’t aware of the Wolf Empire.
It’s that the Wolf Empire is now aware of them. And it’s not happy.
I made that suggestion only because I was giving them the benefit
of the doubt, but if they want to be conquerors, let the pain commence!
Elf lady definitely looks like freedom is something she misses. The
depression looks on her face alone… The empire could use a more
practical FLT as well.
Ok. I can understand that the two outer fleets have to be on standby,
if there may be a major incursion coming behind Big Red’s fleet.
But if he’s moving towards Terra,
that means he’s more or less Surrounded at the moment.
Classic pincer movement, let the enemy get close to one
fleet, have the main body close the gap and en-globe them.
“But… but, we didn’t know!” You didn’t ask. If the Wilson
mines are autonomous, even better.
This kinda reminds me of May’s death, they
tried to blame me and cover up the fact I
was being “detained” just to get a quick
confession/collar. Although this reeks of a
cover-up.
Looks like the demons want to do a “shock and awe” bit
on Terra. They appear to think that a huge fleet appearing
suddenly deep in the system will make the Terrans roll
over and surrender.
“Surrender or die!”
“No! YOU stand down or be destroyed!”
I figure it’s going to take the destruction of several
ships in the red fleet to make them want to stand
down. Between panel 6 and the little bit of background
PC provided I figure these guys are going to take a
bit of persuading. Glad I got popcorn on my last W
Mart run!
I think a few Wilson mines in strategic places will change their minds
pretty quickly, providing their minds stay in their skulls! So they are
the first non-core aggressors huh? Time once again to teach why
messing with the Empire is a VERY bad idea. Although, I am worried
a bit about their tech, as we don’t know it, but they clearly don’t have
mass detectors or they would be backing off right now. The P’tero
stealth systems are VERY handy today 😉 Or they are just that cocky.

Panel six – “They don’t seem to have noticed us
yet, the poor fools.”
The key word there is “SEEM”, and who are the
fools remains to be seen.

I can assure you the Dragons wouldn’t be giving them clues.

Kathy in panel two!
Panel 1 as well…
It’s been a bit, yes.
This is the tagline of an old joke:
Her death was ruled a suicide by stabbing.
20 times.
But it’s not a joke:

What the hell?
Oh for… Sigh, someone had more pull than they deserved then.

Holy Crap Batman, that is vile.
