I don’t always get first spot, PC. Just often. 🙂
Having my own office I can watch the clock and check
the site within a couple of minutes of 8pm ET every day.
lunch, since it is cats… sashimi platters…
now to clarify. sushi does not mean fish roll.!
Sushi means vinegar rice, with topping.
top = seafood (cooked or not) or meat, or
vegies,. served over vinegar rice…
Nigiri means finger food, which is fish over
rice with a touch of wasabi…
Maki is what everyone thinks is sushi…
Sashimi is a plate of fish fillets…
All the ozushi I ever ate while stationed in Japan was rice
with a bit of something in the middle and wrapped in either
seaweed or a kind of cooked batter wrapper. Never got
into sashimi. I was more of a gyoza and yakisoba or
sukiyaki (do love conyaku) or tonkatsu and omiso (white
or red) oh, and tempura. Damned near anything is good
coated in tempura and deep fried. In the Philippines I
loved lumpia and pancit. In the ROK it was yakimandu
or bulgogi and, of course, kimchi. I had curry in down-
town Tokyo a couple of times on the way to watch Sumo.
Kimchi- back in the late 80s, i was det-ed to Busan.
one of the permanents, tried making it in the
barracks, the pot broke, (while cleaning.),,,
i don’t think they ever got the smell out.!
I’ve tried sushi, wasn’t my cup of tea,
I haven’t tried Kimshi as yet,
mainly because I’m deathly allergic to
cabbage (weird, I know) and I HATE eppi pens.
Which is why I pretty much eat only
what I cook myself.
HA! typical cat, LEAPS onto a bed she
likes, and wants to nap on it asap.
On the comments about mine on Jasmine’s
behavior, I know that it’s how they act, I
was just complaining that she wouldn’t let
me sleep. I just had a sleep study done,
I have sleep apnea, I start a CPAP asap,
my oxy never got above 92% and bottomed
out at 78%, it explained much. I haven’t
been sleeping well and lost all motivation,
so here’s hoping once I’m used to it, I can.
This is a placeholder comment.
I want to reserve the top spot in
case I decide to add something.
I saw the long comment about your “family”.
Damn . . . Catman! Just . . . Damn!
Not sure what Bill’s referring to there.

Ain’t that the truth! Riding in a C-141 I always
knew when we were in Korean air space.
I could smell the kimchi at 30,000 feet!
