It took me a bit to figure out what you were referring to
there, Rob. The child will be 19 when his/her father gets
out of Fire Island. Assuming he ever does, which is
      doubtful.

And now we know what Terysa’s dragonfly found out.
December 16th, 2024 – CALLED IT! Okay, okay. It was
one of several options, but, still . . . called it. Tee hee hee!

Yep. Two days after the rape, it knew.

Thanks for your concern, guys. Short version:
Monday I went out to dinner.
Wednesday morning I felt bad. Wednesday evening I felt very bad.
    Thursday I was at Doctor’s.
Friday afternoon blood tests came back. Food poisoning.
Friday morning-Sunday morning I spent flat on bed.
    Sunday afternoon I felt better.
I can’t decide if it was the poison running it’s course – straight through me.
Or being off the internet for three days, but I’m feeling good.
I’m going to stay off the internet for a while, see if I stay good.
(Not here, of course, but off of news sites and social media).
I think the internet is more poisonous than the food was.

Yay! for PC. Boo for food poisoning.

As I have probably stated before, I have a Fakebook account
for one and only one reason, and that is to keep up with
pictures of the granddaughter. I have one Fakebook friend
who is not related, and he’s a friend in meatspace. All ten
or so other Fakebook friends are relatives. That’s it. I go
to several forums related to topics I’m interested in, and
watch the occasional YT video for welding, or forging, or
whatnot. Or watch an old movie. But I do NOT engage in
searching out political news. If it isn’t happening in my
little circle of awareness, it doesn’t really concern me. Or
if it does and I don’t know it, I probably can’t do anything
about it, so why get intentionally worked up about it?

I’m just glad you’re okay. I was concerned something REALLY bad
had happened. Food poisoning is nothing to sneeze at. I remember
a few years back when my wife ate at some chicken place (not
KFC) and came down with shigellosis. Came within a cat’s whisker
of having to be hospitalized. I’m just glad you’re okay. I was getting
ready to see if any of the gang lived close enough to you to do
      a health-and-wellness check!

Yeah, I don’t understand it. I should be immune to food poisoning.
After all, I’ve been eating my own cooking for many years.
Maybe that’s the problem – the restaurant food was untainted,
and my body couldn’t handle it.

Your own cooking is apparently not as bad as you thought.

          Back in 2002 or 2003 (I don’t remember for sure, I just
remember it was my birthday) I went to Seattle for a job
interview. We stayed at a brand new hotel with a 5-star
restaurant attached. It was the focasia bread that got us.
My wife got it much worse than I did. We were barely back
in our room before it hit. Finally, during a pause in
alternating elimination techniques, I got her to the E.R.
When we got back to the hotel hours later I told them we
would be sleeping till we woke up, and we WOULD NOT be
paying for the extra day. And that they would be paying
for the hospital visit. Which they did, after my insurance
paid their share. It was our guess that we were not the
only ones so afflicted, and they were trying to
          stave off a class-action lawsuit.

(And no, I didn’t get the job, thankfully).

          it’s not the food you know… it’s the unknown…
it’s why so many get the runs, on vacation.
no resistance to the bugs in the water…
reason to drink tea & coffee,
          boiling water kills the bug…

Food comes. Food goes. What’s on the internet stays
      forever.

The problem wasn’t how it comes, it’s how it goes.
What comes in solid shouldn’t go out liquid.

Heh, yeah, I was holding a bucket while sitting on the can.
It can be a challenge to stay seated while both ends are
spraying 😉 Co vid does the same to you too.

food poisoning – years back, toxic hell, wife got real sick,
they pumped her stomach, i got mild indigestion.
internet – ‘Quora’ is my stay away site…
more like the “gun questions”.! ,, “do you know how
easy it is for a minor to get a fully automatic assault
rifle-15. with a 500 round clip, and aimbot.?”

Ah, glad to hear you’re on the mend PC, Food poisoning is
a nasty thing to deal with. my wife and I found that out when
I had bought cheap subs at a deli, hers was ok, I spent the
next day hugging a bucket or praying at the porcelain throne.
Somehow I had swallowed a whole pickle slice… (shivers)

Those two sitting by Miral and Ahmya (pink and blue) scream
that they are MF’s and are about to do something very stupid.
Never ceases to amaze me just how stupid people like that
are, they might try to start some crap with a clan scout and
a warrior maiden… “Did IQ’s drop sharply while I was away?”
    Jeez…

Sounds Like a new Envoy in the making with Svetlana?
    I think so…

Svetlana an Envoy? Nah. Not for many years, if ever. At
present, Teresa doesn’t even know her. She’s met Terysa,
but not the real Empress, Teresa.

It’s a big maybe I’ll admit, but with that attitude,
maybe a traveling teacher for the Empire, or
        maybe an ambassador.

I tested both my wife and father, so far neither of them have it
sleeping with a mask sucks though. I got 10 more tests, I’ll
keep testing them since they are high risk. I’m on that “cure”
    and an inhaler. Pax-something.

      Crap bunnies Scars!
I’ve been pretty much sick for the last two weeks,
going to bed at 10 and not waking up
before 9 or 10 the next morning.
I’m supposed to make a four-and-a-half-hour trip tomorrow.
Think I’d better get a quick test before I head out…

It hit me hard for the first 3 days,
after that I could stay awake.
That’s going to really suck driving that long,
don’t be afraid to pull off.
Sad thing is that I’ve had 5 vac shots for it!
The last one was just last month.

Scars – The vaccines do not prevent Covid. At best
(and there is much debate about this), they allegedly
          dampen the symptoms.

I suspect they are “Mother Earth First” members, and
they are giving the stink eye at the both, I’m sure at Ahmya
for just being friendly with a Cat… Sorry an “unwanted”.
Although… They do tend to be racist in general.

I saw this meme in a Johnny B video and had to share.
    U.S. foreign policy over time
Teddy Roosevelt: Walk softly but carry a big stick.
Bush: Run around wildly, beating people with a stick.
Biden: Walk incoherently and give the stick to the Taliban.
Trump: Guess where this stick is going if you screw with us.

More like, Trump: Do as I say or I’ll beat you with this stick.
And will anyway, once I get what I want.

Just like he did last time. Especially to the Kurds.
Tossing them to erdogan’s genocidal wolves after they did the
lion’s share of the fighting, and dying, to defeat isis.

He’s the epitome of: with friends like these, who needs enemies.

Though. that’s become the US in general, for decades now.
Last decent president you had was Reagan.

College coffee shop has interesting customers,
    judging by the blackboard discussions.
Guess they are in the same quad as the
