OK, I was referring to “still exist” in the Terra of the Empire.
Closest I could come up with of someone (on Terra, not Lamia)
using that title was the CSA president, and I finally found
those strips, and couldn’t find anything.
For me, a “vacation” meant I was able to do the work at
home my job(s) kept me from. Not much different other
than there was more cussing and less DI shouting 😛
(Wifey always did claim the car’s paint was smoking
when I had to patch up a hand or finger 😉 )
Well, I’m sure Miral wouldn’t want Gopi sitting on it.
But, yeah, wrapping it around Gopi seems like
a comforting thing to do for Gopi,
regardless of how much holding power it has.
Oh sure, I doubt Gopi had ridden before,
and while cat tails are flexible,
they aren’t prehensile,
so it was a reassuring hug.
I remember the first time I took my wife on my bike,
(and the last time I tried to ride) she was doing
the “iron bar” hold the entire time.
“There’s no back rest! I might fall!
“Just hold onto me!”
“URCK!”
She cracked 2 short ribs….
Wow – Panel 7 certainly took me back to my high school military
academy days.
I had learned the squad and platoon drill commands the year before.
(We ‘modified’ many of the FM 22-5 commands just a bit too much
to suit the Cadre.)
My second year I was 1st platoon guide . . .
I got to hating flanking drill movements!
I still remember my classmate Wiley Willingham’s ’58 Vett.
Got to drive that beauty around San Antonio.
😀
Bill – San Antonio and I have a love affair stretching many years,
beginning in 1957 – High School girl friend when I was at Allen Acad.
several visits in the Alamo Heights area. Fall ’58, Trinity Univ.
Several trips with 2 week stays for various USAR activities (1970,
1980, et al), Camp Bullis, Ft Sam Houston,
Booke Army Hospital a few times for Chaplain training activities.
A couple Shotgun Reunion trips there a couple times.
Boot Scooting at the Denim and Diamonds club – not sure it is still there.
I buried my former B.I.L. (first wedding I did as well) at the Nat’l Cemetery.
San Antonio has grown so much over those years, it is incredible.
ok.. just a heads up..
IF you are missing a post.! resubmit!!
a hacker clown dumped over 100+ spams
at 00:00 last night… i looked, But that

I had forgotten that the sata 3 data connector
was completely different from the old ones..
Back to Amazon!
All that after fighting an hour with those tiny,
itty bitty mounting screws that like to giggle
and hide… Jasmine ran and hid when I got
loud…
P4 – is that the same member of “Her Own”
who hid so many weapons on her?
The one that ‘aquired’ a rare sword?
Looks like her – at least to my eyes…
And yes, she was certainly packing 🙂
(and probably still is…)
Yep. That’s Mala.
And I’ll bet she’s carrying a few now.
Not to mention the rifle on her back.
Yeah, that too.
Panel 7 – Now what’s Teresa up to, eh?
Sorry, color coding fail.
That’s the squad leaders shouting,
not Teresa.
Sorry, I meant panel 8.
I’m very sure than Mala could teach a few new things
about close-quarters fighting and melee weapon use…
Wow Gopi, that’s one bright set of glasses you got on!
Neon red they look like. I hope this meeting goes as
well as the last one.
“almost a vacation”
Well, in that a “vacation”
can be anything that is a change from normal routines.
Certainly stories those recruits can use later for free drinks :}
free drinks..
this would be a good time
to introduce “Challenge Coins.”
You make me wonder if there are still Turtles.
yes.
not a pilot, so not one..
but if you look closely, Prez
has one on his ‘challenge’ wall..
page #? thx
sorry,. the present prez trying to foster
good military votes and posted all his
‘awards’ an one was turtle…

When were you in San Antonio, Ned? That’s where I call home.

Damn, your computer is old!
Hope you have the correct power connectors.
