locked her into a less mature mode of behavior, as a form of
mental defense. A sort of; if you appear to be less capable, less
will be demanded of you, mode. If people think that you are
mentally challenged, there is only now much they can expect
of you to be able to handle. Weird mental mode, but the human
psyche is pretty weird anyway…

I know it just had me thinking is all, in the gist of TGW,
there were Elder gods and once they decided to move
on left the dragons in charge. At some point there had
to be a settlement of the humans on the planet so when
the elder gods seen this they shook the planet, forcing
the humans to scatter world wide, which caused terrains
to be born. That might be why the dragons said “screw
this” and left everyone else alone, pissed that the gods
acted that way.
I can’t remember if I read that book, but it reminds me of one
of the Mars movies that came out, they were saying as such
and the face on mars was in fact a test to see if we were
ready to join the one’s that left. It might be “Mission to Mars”.

but a great wave that washed just about everything away.
That kind of axial shift would make water, which is slow to

I’ll admit, the more geological and paleontological evidence I see and read,
the more convinced I am about the possibility of a fairly advanced, perhaps
as advanced as the early Renaissance, may have existed, prior to the Younger
Dryas event, that seems to have flooded most.of the Northern Hemisphere,
about 12,700 years ago.
If one were to take into account, things like mammoths being flash frozen, with
undigested food still in their stomachs, just at the beginning of the last Ice Age,
the huge flood events from the rather sudden and rapid melting of the glaciers
of that age, the kind of floods that scourers the land down to bedrock.
If we look at some modern flood events, it’s pretty obvious, like from the Mount
Saint Helens event, that the land and almost every trace of what was in the path
of the lahar flood, would have been erased as if it never existed.
When you examine all of the geological evidence in North America alone, the
circumstantial evidence alone is pretty convincing.
What caused the sudden flood? My suspicion is a cometary impact on the ice
sheet on North America, which at the time, were estimated to be about three
miles thick, over what is now known as Hudson Bay in Canada. As the impact
would have been on ice of that thickness, most of the characteristics of such an
impact would be absent, as the land would have been scrubbed clean by the
floods resulting from the impact.

A foreign diplomat can’t be arrested in the Empire, but they CAN be denied access
to anywhere the person controlling the property doesn’t want them.
Military bases, restaurants, hotels.
A diplomat who shows up at a military base without a AAA card who refuses to be
searched won’t be allowed to enter, even if he’s with Empress Teresa.
You know that if a sentry says, “You shall not pass”, Teresa will back him up.
Diplomatic immunity is not a go-anywhere pass.
If his crime is bad enough, he will be, at a minimum, expelled and at maximum,
all ties including trade and tourism with his country will be severed.
Gopi has a friend. Corporal search everything.
No AAA card complete search.
But Gopi keeps looking older.
