Well, I survived the surgery. Turns out there were
at least three cancerous lymph nodes, possibly more.
I am able to talk better, but my swallowing is in rough
shape. Think it might be a bit til I’m on my feet again…
I don’t doubt it, a buddy of mine had something like 5 lbs goiter
removed, it was a few weeks before he could talk above a whisper
or eat easily. Hang in there, it’ll just be a bad memory soon.

Sometimes when I see Flea smile
like she is in the second frame,
I can’t help but think of the evil doll Chucky.
(I think that was his name)
I know she’s not evil, but that smile.
I just meant she had to potential to be, mostly joking
about it all, I’ve been there, it’s not fun. You’re basically
numb in the head, caring about something or someone
is a huge step.
Oh no doubt Capt. if you wait and REact, it’s already too late. Acting
to be ready is better than fighting with a damaged ship. Kudos to the
rest of the Buns, they had everything ready without being told, so
really the whole bridge crew saved the ship and ended the conflict
before it got bad.
Don’t complain about that Flea, shock is a wonderful thing at the first
moment. I know when I rolled that car and was ejected, when I landed the
first thing I did was roll over and try to get up, when I couldn’t, I realized
I was in trouble. Teresa must of done the healing from a distance, but
oh yeah! that would of totally freaked me out if I didn’t know about
Teresa’s healing. You’re young and been through hell Seth, give it time.
I’m sure with Teresa’s help healing will become so much easier than you
remember. I have no doubt there’s help to manage your PTSD.
I can tell Diana will need time as well, she’s going through so
many emotions so quickly. (the first 3 panels her face changed
a lot) Like all things, time and effort will improve things for her.
They did say they had 2 open spots available, That way both Diana
and Seth can see each other and get both counseling and training
together. Teresa visits the Legion often, so that fixes that as well.
I notice that the leporidae wear clothes but always go barefoot.
Now if they deploy there will be some environments where they
might need some sort of foot gear. If they did need foot gear
could those things rightly be called “bunny boots”?

That’s excellent news! Did the docs believe
they got all the bad nodes? Hang in.
It’s a slow process, I’m still getting CT scans
done on me every 6 months, it’s been 2 years.
