Kiedra has such a sad beginning, but up until the CSA conflict
I think for the most part she was being herself, I bet that
felt great for her! And good for the rest of the clan.

Hey Taritha! I thought you planted a flower but… but it’s…
    it’s a… hummm… Well, it’s doing well whatever that is! 🙂
I don’t see a problem if they vote yes, the core wanted a
trade agreement with the Catians, and that’s what they
are getting, just not as one-sided as they had wanted.

Taritha planted the equivalent of kudzu.

Possibly stupid question: If intercourse with a fully human
(i.e. not Catian) male is so uncomfortable for Catian females,
would it not also be uncomfortable for the human male?
If so how could it be pleasurable?

Modern day child molesters, even those who rape infants.
Gah, I don’t even want to think about them.

        Yes, I hear you.
Some talk along those lines, among some of the convicts
(“offenders”) at an Indiana prison where I was doing
some nursing – had me wishing I could rip their throats
out and toss the remainder down a bottomless pit.

Rape is not a “modern times” thing.
Only that up until recently the women/girls usually had to take the blame.

Two centuries back, if sixteen year old didn’t run away fast enough from a
molester and her parents found out, they’d make her marry him – and told
her to be thankful for him taking her in spite of her “fallen” state.

Looks like Kiedra did not have as much fun as possible with that
    convoy. Not all her missile pods are empty :}

Isn’t bring back ammo sorta rude? Now the ground crew have to
safe all that, and dismount the pod, and check before re-deploy.
Would be much easier to “just drop” an empty pod onto a lift rack?

It’s possible that the models PC uses to tell the
story don’t have an empty version of the rocket pods.

Even for the Empire, missiles and armament cost.
Don’t waste what you don’t have to.

There’s an old saying: “better to have it and not need it,
than to need it and not have it.”

Also keep in mind they are near a war zone, all airships
are on standby, a call can come in at anytime to the
less time spent on reloading the better.

Aren’t air missiles like really expensive?

So maybe there’s orders to use as much force
as necessary but not more than enough?

Yeah I seriously doubt they’d be grav missiles so close to the ground.
I believe the missiles are for heavier assets like tanks and heavy guns,
and the mini-guns are for anti-personal. Urban vehicles offer little resistance
to even hand gun ammo. Even a .22lr can penetrate a car door’s skin.

only time you drop live ordnance in a war zone,
when RTB is if a “Mayday” status is called.
and real world prices.. $3.000 per rocket,.
. $4k for little pod an $10k for the bigger.
so,, a full pod of 7 is $25k…

And they’d get away with it if not for those pesky Navy accountants.
“Hmmm, a simple solid fuel rocket with an explosive warhead. How
much do the motors cost you? And the warheads? You want $3000 each?
Knock off a zero and we’ll talk.”
“Oh, there’s a good job waiting for me when I retire? Nice try. Turn
around and put your hands on that wall…”
I’m not saying that everyone in the Navy is of sterling character,
but accepting a contract that would deliver less than the Navy should
be getting for the price would not be a career enhancer.
Which is another reason Teresa travels in a regular troop transport,
if Mama don’t get no gold toilet seat, no one does.

So, the Hammerhead’s council has already gotten
ultimatums by their wives, mistresses and daughters.
Let’s see what happens if this goes public.

Seems like it’s already gone public, just hasn’t made to
whatever they have for a news media. Word of mouth travels
fast, and becomes more distorted with each retelling.

The Cats better watch out or they’ll wind up having to build
dedicated covfefe tankers to supply the demand. They ought
to be looking into making a powdered, dry version to reduce
the amount of mass they need to haul. Water is heavy and
    can be expensive.

It may be that in powdering it, it loses potency. As it is the syrup
for a thimble full makes a bit over a quart so I think it’s manageable.
A single 1000 liter tote makes 200,000 doses for the Aquatics
so 5-6 totes would be plenty for the HH. When I worked at a Red
Gold factory they had these 4 HUGE vacuum drying machines
that were basically a 10 X 10 foot boxes with louvered sides and
a huge exhaust fan on top to turn tomato juice into paste so dense
that you could scoop up a handful and it’d stay in your hand. If a
spill happened it took a snow shovel and a dumpster to clean it up.
