Actually, she already ate her burger…
He’s probably afraid she’ll snag his before He gets a bite of it!
She IS a cat after all…
(And yes, I HAVE had a steak stolen by a cat before!)

Yeah Bear was like that too, sneaky turd would climb up on the couch,
lay next to me and watch, the second I’d look away or start to doze
off he was all up in my snacks. Then if I caught him he’d do that
noom noom growl that was funny, but it meant I was stealing HIS food!

I had a pet rat that would literally swipe the
food out my fingers as I was biting down on it.
She would even try and steal the food out your mouth.

Yeah, I was gonna say she was being a little bit hypocritical,
but conniving is probably closer. Cats IZ Cats.

    WTH is with the handlebar?!
I know the critters like hats (shades of Girl Genius jagers!)
but a moustache looks as ridiculous and out of place as a
    tuxedo on a turtle.
But every civilization and society has its affectations.
Who am I to judge? “So long as it neither breaks my leg
    nor picks my pocket”.

So he wants to be a Scots reptile…
      That’s cool…
Just be glad he didn’t go for mutton chops!

He’s just going for the “look”,
I doubt he knows what a “Dastardly Dan” was.
It is funny to see a creature that is unlikely
to be able to grow one is wearing a fake.

HA HA! that’s just mean Pee Wee, but funny!
She’s really getting into his story.
Glad to see they had bonded that fast.

Nice to see they are willing to mix their
tech like that both can only benefit from it.
I hope in time there will be tech sharing from all sides,
I’m sure there are tech from the Human’s as well that
would make all fleets strong than ever before!
Sounds like the start of a federation to me 🙂 With the
Earth’s grav tech, P’tera stealth tech, and the Human’s
shield tech, that will make a cruiser fight like a
    Dreadnought!

O’hnon, nice try, but the old English sport-
car driver look doesn’t quite fit you…
At least not the auburn-colored mustash.

He missed the General and hit the truck ahead of him but the
general was too close when the shell hit, ran into the wreck,
and died in the resulting fire or explosion
    (ammunition/fuel truck?)

The human body can survive (not always and not without serious
injury) an instantaneous acceleration of 100G. Obviously the
cats (and other tough species) can survive more and squishy
species such as frogs less; but all can take the about 5G
acceleration an unprotected human can take (10G with a G suit
or acceleration couch) This is also the range of G forces the
reaction is designed to work at and to change the vector the
    entire ship must be rotated.
However the gravity drives operate at up to 40G (external)
while normally maintaining a 1G environment inside the ship –
and the external vector can be changed almost instantly,
    without rotating the ship.
Thus a gravity drive needs to cope with a stress of up to 40G
in all directions, but a reaction drive only needs to cope
with up to 10G in one direction.

It still comes down to herekitykitty’s Splat Gotcha
That cover ALL situations where the General doesn’t
      survive the shot

Meant to add “without rotating the ship” after “instantly”

down the front of his favorite leather jacket. His favorite…
The Atomic Wedgie has Scar hanging from a coat hook.

The Mythbusters used shock stickers they use in shipping,
it’s 50g that causes damage and 100g is death.

I expected a grav drive system would cause stresses greater that a series
of steering thrusters and a reaction drive the system pushes the ship to
cause motion, while the grave drive pulls. There’s shape differences in
framework that resist that outward or inward pressure. A triangle will resist
inward and lateral pressure but pull on any joint and it breaks. Sure you brace
it for that, but you lose interior space.
This way they save not only space by using the Imperial frame but more since
they only need a small battery bank rather than reaction tanks. A simple drone
made with 6 grav drives, a large RC lithium battery, and a transceiver would
only be a 4x4x4 ft cube! with room left over for a sensor suite and an AI.

Sorry Kiedra, it is Pee Wee’s turn to take a bite. He has not
gotten to touch his, while yours has been finished. Did he
    plan that for maximum suspense?

The sweater and hat can work, those are just a different style
of clothes. But a (fake) moustache?

I hear that, I had to wear a powdered wig for a school play….
Never sneezed so much in my life! I don’t bother with a wig or
whatever for my baldness, just bask in the glory of the reflection 🙂
I do have to wear hats, nothing gives a worse headache than a
sun-burned dome. Wore a mesh hat in the bright sun, it was
        hilarious! Still hurt though…

I’m the opposite, spelling and grammar errors (as above)
literally leap off the screen/page at me,
large neon letters that smack me across the eyeballs.
Too many times I have to tell my brain to “shut up”,
and continue reading, as there is nothing I can do about it,
and no one I can take it to to get it corrected.
