Catman, I remember the Woodman. I always enjoyed his comments at “Day By Day” at least before Muir banned my “Old Cldger” alter ego. Muir isn’t much one to brook dissent. Minor variations from the party line are sometimes allowed but only minor and only occasionally. I’m not sure when Muir banned me bit I think it was before the election. Muir blocked my IP address from ever commenting there again and I haven’t been back since.
I left a bit earlier, when he ran a story line that took an ugly misogynistic stance. He praised a commenter, excited to have drawn a reaction from him, and I looked up HIS website. It was worse, much worse. I was done.
Petercat,
No, I don’t have a website. No time, no “training”, and my posting would be very sporadic.
Even though I’m probably close to Bill’s age, I’m still a busy working stiff, with lots of family responsibilities. So I lurk, I read, and I occasionally comment.
This is not my “full” user name (didn’t want to scare the horses), but if you’re curious, go to XXX, you’ll find me there, as Bill said.
Oh, and “HI!” , Bill. Miss you at XXX.
Oh, and TY for the music added to the sword dancing (several ‘toons back). I’d almost swear I could see her move while the music was playing. I enjoyed the first tune (bagpipes) better. Being of Scot decent (clan Duncan), it pulsed my blood. Always has, always will.
Again, TY for TGW, and for allowing me to comment here. If you allow me to continue to comment, I would be grateful. I am not in the same “class” as those who do 3D modelling, but I appreciate the work that goes into this effort.
Check your email, please.
Sorry, I had to edit your comment a bit. I allow links here, but that author doesn’t allow mention of other
webcomics in his comment section, (In fact, he’s quite nasty about it), so I don’t allow mention of his here. I hope you understand.
There is another I don’t allow, but that’s a political blog.

Don’t I know it. I once referred to TGW over there and you’d have thought I had accused Muir of consorting with the devil! I DO NOT miss Muir’s high handed ways.
Thanks, Woodman, back at you. Miss you and several of the regulars but when Muir got snotty I ended a part of my daily routine stretching back over a decade. Kinda miss the stories, comments and Muir’s admittedly beautiful artwork but I refuse to walk on rice paper for Muir.
I can’t remember all of the names I have used. That option did not come up. This name has been banned in several lives, including some in Europe.
My security system had reacted badly to something way back when. So I just read your site. It’s been an interesting story, and I read the whole arc when it was consolidated.
I like when the story is good enough to read the whole story when it is available. The story has been entertaining and has remained so as it develops further than your original thoughts.
We live in interesting times. P in America may also be somewhere else also. I don’t write all of these down. I did not remember it was used here until the reminder.
Keep the good work going. Thank You.
My first comment was in reference to the first strip, panel 4. Sorry, I should have been more clear. I have seen that same question asked after a visitor has stepped off the gangplank onto the landing deck, so the question in the bay didn’t seem odd.
My second referenced a book title I’m sure most of you are familiar with.
“Do you mind if we borrow yours”
ROFLOLMFAO!!
Bravo! Well played! Encore! Author!
Your name looks familiar, do you have a website?

Petercat,
Oops. Sorry. Wasn’t aware, try to not let it happen again. I’ll go check my email shortly.
Bill,
If nothing else, you can always browse and enjoy the artwork, even if you can’t comment.

This…is getting interesting now! LOL
Thanks, and welcome to The Gentle Wolf!

“Soitanly not. Make yourself at home. Have at it.”
.
And sentient life in all its varieties.
What happened to “P in America”?

‘Do you mind if we borrow yours?’
Petercat, without going into detail, you just gave me a thought towards how the Lir civilization develops.
After they’ve already done it. Easier to ask forgiveness than permission, I guess.
I was … expecting someone taller.
So was I. When I saw the shuttle it looked rather small so I was thinking those two are really cramped in there.
It’s a technical fiction, but the shuttle bay is not considered “aboard ship”.
To actually come aboard, they must exit the bay.

Aand there’s a TV Trope about it because of course there is.
